Easily the best pizza that I have had in Indiana. Carryout to Pax Verum Brewing next door for a local microwbrew to wash it down. If you don't love their pizza, your dog probably thinks your an asshole.

Love the downtown, so I had high hopes. Ordered pizza (chicken, sausage, ricotta, basil, and hot honey) and wings (two orders). Upon picking up my pizza, I was told they were out of chicken and ranch, which is no big deal. But when getting my pizza, there was clearly no ricotta on it. I asked if he put it on there and he said “it’s on there somewhere.” I was also charged for the chicken. I understand that places run out of things, but feel like for spending $54 + a tip, I should have been told this when ordering and not overcharged for items I did not receive. My family got it the food before I could take a picture of the whole pizza.

I figured I would try this place out. That was a mistake I won't pay for twice. $50 for 2 sodas, 2 14" pizzas, and an order of breaksticks. What!? This is Pizza King levels of highway robbery.
Moving on. We went inside and ordered dinner, I had to ask for their drinks that we ordered. We waited outside for about 15 to 20 minutes, which wasn't terrible. Upon receiving the food, we went home and got to eating. The breaksticks were just thin, crunchy, and not satisfying. The pizza was a big disappointment for both the girls and myself. Multiple burn points on the crust and the pepperoni made the food less than desirable, but again, I paid $50 for it, I'm going to eat it.
Update from younger child. The burnt parts weren't good at all, so I pulled them off. It was really thin, like too thin.
TL:DR. In town pizza place is sub-par, at best, and overpriced at worst. 1 out of 5. Will pass during the village fair.

Best pizza - and ranch the Midwest. Especially their margarita pizza. That’s all you need to know.

My wife and I drove to Lapel from Fishers to visit Pax Verum which is one of our favorite breweries. We decided to get a pizza from King Dough since you literally walk across the PV outdoor space to order. I attempted to order food from their counter. Their computer system didn’t work so I used their website to order. The order receipt said the $20 small pepperoni pizza could be picked up in 30 minutes. Ok. Longer wait than I anticipated. Well, 30 minutes later I walked back into the store to pick up. The girl employee seemed embarrassed and simply said my pizza wasn’t ready and they had to make it again. So, literally 30 more minutes after that, I went back into the store and they had it ready. The pizza was mediocre at best. The service is terrible. The employees are untrained and lack basic customer service skills. Their computer system adds a tip to the bill automatically when ordering for pick up. Geez. What a terrible experience.

Great pizza, even better staff. Worth price of admission. Their spicy rub on wings are to die for. Glad Lapel finally has legitimate pizza.

Great addition to Lapel! Nothing is better than a slice of pizza and an ice cold beer and the fact that they are neighbors with Pax is a perfect match. Don’t sleep on this

One of the best pepperoni pizzas that I've had, their crust and sauce are really good and so is the cheese and pepperoni they use. Try it you won't be disappointed.
