Small, but cozy coffee shop. A nice addition to the Bright area.

I found my favorite spot in Bright, IN! The coffee is out of this world, the paninis are unmatched, and the scones are pure perfection! I highly recommend the blueberry scone (try it warmed) and a white chocolate cortado for breakfast!

Best coffee shop ever! Grace and all the other workers exceed expectations every single time. Kind service and community all around. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out!

Coffee was great! Will be back soon.

I’ve tried this coffee shop multiple times and keep leaving disappointed. The card reader was down on one visit and I was told there was nothing they could do which resulted in me leaving without coffee (worth noting the 2 employees working didn’t even try to troubleshoot the card reader or care to try to fix the situation). Service was super slow each time despite not being busy. I’ve also tried several basic drinks (still just as pricy, if not more, than higher end coffee shops) and none have been good. Given how simple my orders are, this was frustrating. I won’t be returning.

Horrible ownership. Staff doesn’t know a thing about coffee and even admits to not liking coffee. They say it’s about community, it’s not.

Horrible business practices and also cut corners on food, customer service and coffee is below average. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Absolutely horrendous business. They pretend to be community oriented and are extremely unethical in their practices to customers and employees. Management lies through their teeth and the business is struggling as you can tell by the decrease in quality of the product and the service provided as well. There’s some businesses that are destined for failure and you feel bad- this is not one of them.

I LOVE Renck's! My favorite coffee shop in the Lawrenceburg area. This place is such a gem!
The lattes are absolutely delectable! I can have a hard time with coffee shops making their lattes too sweet, but they've figured out the perfect balance. Their hot mocha is delightful and so is their chai!
Oh, and the scones!! Oh my, they are so good! I've tried the blueberry, the candy cane, and the fig and walnut scone and they have all been beyond delicious!
Renck's has that classic laid-back, relaxing coffee shop vibe that I love. The decor is fabulous, the perfect blend of modern and nostalgic. Maybe I'm weird, but I just adore the old-fashioned sink and faucet in the bathroom. So cute!
The baristas are so kind and friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to barista Liliana, who is the sweetest!
The only challenge presented is the limited parking lot. However, the struggle is wiped from your brain the second you walk in the front door. 🙂

This place is so cute! The coffee is very rich and full of flavor. They did an even better job with the decor and setup than I could have thought!

If the vision of Rencks1860's owners was to create a space where people look forward to meeting with friends and family, then they truly succeeded!
Since they opened my friends and I have looked forward to breakfast after yoga, lunch on the way home from running errands and just going to talk about life.
The attention to detail it took to remodel a building that has seen better days was extraordinary. I love how, instead of covering up the scrapes and bruises of its long history, they took copper and rivets to patch the floor. The old was seamlessly blended with the new.
We've sampled nearly everything on their menu! All the paninis are fantastic, but Kelly's recommendation to try the Bright Beef was spot on—it's my absolute favorite! The Bright Morning breakfast sandwich comes in as a close second. The biscuit truly shines; I'm hoping they'll add a biscuit with jam to the menu one day! Every scone we've tasted has been delightful, and the savory one was just right for a road trip!
Last but certainly not least, let's talk about the baristas! I wish I could remember all their names, especially since they know mine! They all are awesome!! Grace is doing an exceptional job managing everything, even when the coolers aren't functioning properly; she handles these challenges with remarkable grace!
You can tell that I’m a fan of Rencks1860! You’ll become one as well once you stop by!

Sweet & simple! Lovely atmosphere, well decorated, warm & inviting, and a great place to meet friends. I loved the decor & history associated with the building. I had a steak sandwich that was tasty. My coffee was ok. Flavored pumps are extra. The parking is a touch tricky in the immediate lot but there's parking across the street at the church.
