My husband and I went to Sakura in Lawrenceburg Indiana, August 16 for my husband‘s birthday! We had a Sakura down by Us on the west side of town and it closed down so we decided to drive from Cincinnati to Lawrenceburg Indiana. We have never had a bad meal at the Sakura on Rybolt Road. However, the Sakura in Lawrenceburg, Indiana was terrible! My husband ordered scallops and fillet and he got nothing but burnt shrimp. Everyone’s shrimp tasted burnt however no one said anything, trying to be nice because they were very busy. However, our chef was in too big of a hurry and had the grill up way too high and everything tasted burnt. When the waitress brought our bill over and we told her about the mishap, she said oh sorry I will take one of your fried shrimps for 575 off? His meal was over $40 and we should’ve been credited the whole $40 however she seemed to disagree and charged him $30 for the shrimp hibachi meal. Which is not even what he ordered. This place is terrible. I would never go again.

The people are nice and the service is okay, but the food is really bland and way over priced. The floors are dirty and slippery. Our feet and chairs were sliding all over the place. Was very disappointed in the quality of the food. Definitely not worth $30+ a plate.

Good food. The only suggestion would be that the tables need to be cleaned thoroughly so they aren't sticky. They cleaned them, but they were still sticky to us.

Had a great chef. He was entertaining and a good cook. One of the best I have had at a hibachi steak house.
Our server didn't bring my boyfriend the lemon he asked for, or the garlic butter. No big deal, but at sakura really sll they do is give you drinks, and she couldn't handle bringing two small extra items. When we left my boyfriend forgot to sign the credit card slip when we left, so they charged him 18% gradituity. The bill was $89, his card got charged $103.
When I called about it the manager said there's signs up, I wanted to jack it up to 25% on him.
An unsigned slip equals no consent to ANY charges. It absolutely does not mean they can charge you more? That's fraud. That'd illegal. But according to the manager they're and independent business and they can do what they want?
Me and my fiancée ordered to go, we were originally quoted 30 minutes for our food. We got it an hour after the order was placed and our food was Luke warm at best. Servers are very friendly and helpful, but I would not spend the money on this again unfortunately.
45 minute wait for food . Gave away most of food when u know what others order shrimp taste burnt very over priced charge extra 5.75 for fried rice what a joke.
Good but pricey
