Shift Restaurant and Bar

My husband and I visited the Bright location last week for lunch. This was our first experience eating there and it was wonderful! The fish sandwich was a large portion and was delicious! Our waitress was super sweet and efficient! I had a Sweet Honey salad it was so good! Large amount of food for both meals

Took the family for Xmas Eve dinner. I got the filet mignon steak and it was awesome. This place knows how to cook a steak. Never had a bad one. Everyone else loved their meals.

⭐ Shift Restaurant – Bright, Indiana (Thanksgiving Dinner Review) I arrived right on time for my reservation, but was told there were no tables available since guests were lingering longer than expected. The restaurant was very busy, which I anticipated for the holiday. I was offered a seat at the bar, which I accepted, and my drink order was taken promptly. The Thanksgiving dinner was explained as all-you-can-eat ham and turkey with a choice of four sides. Unfortunately, service quickly became the weak point of the evening. My server said she would return to take my order, but it was thirty minutes before she came back. My salad arrived shortly after, but my main meal did not come out for another thirty minutes—over an hour total for what was essentially a pre-cooked holiday meal. When the food finally arrived, it was good, but I only received three sides instead of four, and one of them was not what I had selected. ✅ Positives • Busy but festive atmosphere • Drink service was quick and friendly • Food quality was solid once it arrived ❌ Areas for Improvement • Long delays in taking orders and serving food • Missed items and incorrect sides • Reservation system didn't prevent seating issues Overall, the meal itself was enjoyable, but the service fell short of expectations, especially for a holiday dinner.

They were very crowded which made it very noisy. Table were crowded together. Food was just ok. Server was very pleasant. We were not allowed to take home what we couldn't eat. Not sure why. It wasn't a buffet. They would not be able to use that food after being on our table.

In fairness, this was a Thanksgiving Day reservation, and they were busy. We were seating 40 minutes after our reservation, as the table /booth assigned to our reservation was still eating. The initial waitress was quite nice and went through all teh particulars as to how the meal went and the choices. All good so far. Then , we never saw her again until desert time. In the meantime, the VERY young lady who served our food was not pleasant and not helpful. We did not get butter with the rolls, and it took until our second helping to get butter. She was quite slow and not friendly at all. Upon waiting 30 minutes to order desert, I went to the front desk and asked for assistance so that the "next" reservation was not more heavily impacted than we were. I saw our waitress tending bar........ahah! That's why we had not seen her. The total price vs the QUALITY of food was not worthwhile, ,coupled by the horrible service making us agree we would not be back.

The food was good and at the appropriate temperature when served. The staff was very busy the entire time we were there. We enjoyed it and will do it again if offered the opportunity,

The food for the Thanksgiving meal was great. Was seated next to front door and it was very cold.

We enjoyed our dinner here. They must have updated the menu recently because my favorite menu item (the firecracker chicken sandwich) was no longer on the menu. I went for the fried chicken tacos this time, buffalo style and they were very good. We also had the mozzarella and pretzel appetizer and they were both very good! The other people in our party tried different burgers and both didn't have left overs to take home.

Booked a reservation for Sunday brunch at 10am for a friends birthday. I showed up and was greeted right away. We sat at a high top in the bar area and it was perfect. Our server was great and very attentive. The strawberry mimosas were a great touch for brunch and they were so good we ordered multiple rounds. The brunch was absolutely delicious! I had the triple berry french toast and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. We will definitely be back for brunch and highly recommend trying it out. You will not be disappointed.

It was a great experience. Server was excellent. Food was good. Relaxing and enjoyable meal.

Food was excellent and portions were generous. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Our server was very nice. Great selection of food options.

The waitress had a super short attitude, never came to check in on us and the wait for food was really long.

I don't know how we have missed this establishment! What a gem! The food was delicious and we throughly enjoyed our dinner. We will be back!

Our first time to Shift. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We had the salmon tacos and the grilled chicken wrap. We liked the chips and spicy salsa and would go back if in the area.

Great place! Will definitely be returning! The pretzel was awesome and best fish sandwich I've had in a long time!
