This is my go-to spot for my birthday or when my dad wants to go eat. They have great food and great service! It's like the restaurants I remember growing up where food tasted like food, not just microwaved and poured from a bag. Highly recommend eating here and getting the fried cod or meatloaf!
Their specialty is fried chicken, but everything is good. They are not a fancy restaurant, but the view of the Ohio River is spectacular. Make sure you save room for dessert. They are made by them.
We are staying in Patoka Lake but took a trip to Indiana Caverns. The staff gave some local restaurant recommendations and this one did not disappoint. The food was good and the views were just amazing! They have plenty of indoor seating and have outdoor seating as well. It was 98 degrees the day we visited so didn’t take advantage of anything outdoors. Would highly recommend.
