Got a to-go meal, first time eating here. Wish I’d got “the mountain” for a selection. A whole platter was too much for me, and I found the sausage too spicy. Brisket was really good. Liked the baked beans. Biscuits were nice, dipped in sauce for savory and eat it with apple butter for a sweet. People were friendly and service was quick.
Driving home from Chicago needing dinner. Did not want fast food or a sub. Luckily this was nearby so we stopped there. My wife got Wings which were big and flavorful. I got the Brisket Sandwhich w sweet BBQ. Very tasty, and plenty of meat. A tad on the saltier side, noticeable but not diminishing flavor. Fries good too. Definitely recommend as a dinner stop!
Amazing BBQ pulled pork macaroni and cheese their biscuits and cinnamon honey butter. We had a company outing, there was 20 hungry Construction guys who were all very pleased and had a great waitress. We will be back.
