Let me start off with how good the ribs are! Straight off the bones every single piece. The mash potatoes hit the spot as well. I ordered to go but the place has a chill atmosphere. If you are driving by or live around the area, check them out.

Good food. We went there for lunch when we were camping nearby. Angie our server took very good care of us, making sure my tea was always refilled.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Best food, staff and old fashioned around. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

Haven't tried a whole lot of options, but can certainly vouch for the chicken livers, breaded tenderloin, burgers, & grilled chicken. Nice appetizer assortment, too. But the best part is the great staff that always go above & beyond to make you feel comfortable & welcome.

WOW! We are from out of town and Marcy’s was recommended by several friends. We were impressed by our wonderful server Katie. She took such great care of us. We ordered the codfish dinner and the pork chops! Both were cooked perfectly and tasted so good. The green beans were incredible. My son had the pizza and asked if he could take another back to our RV. He’s a picky eater so it was definitely a winner! Great value, awesome service and the food was excellent! We will come back next time we are camping at Tipsaw!

Wanted to try this little out of the way homecooked restaurant.
I was a awaiting to try the pork tenderloin.
Disappointment came quickly. Although the size is spot on and the thickness was great, the overall flavor was not there. And the bun left much too be desired. Very bready.
The fries were simply run of the mill.
The service was very friendly and personable.

I went here for the last time today prices our high. My boys sides tasted spoiled. Told owner and just argued with me about. Refused to do anything about it. I don't pay for stuff I can't eat sorry.

NOTE: cash only establishment!!!!!

This place is a small diner in the downtown district of the hustling and bustling metropolis of Leopold, Indiana. This place is tiny, but comfortable and clean. We wanted to find a cozy little place on our anniversary weekend, and decided on Marcy’s.

We came here because they advertise great baby back ribs, and I’m glad we made the hour-long trip from home. One of my pet peeves is folks who advertise great ribs, and then, when you get them, they are tough, and you need to gnaw them off the bone. However, when you get the ribs here, no teeth are required. The bones slide easily out of the meat. And the meat was tender, juicy and simply melts in your mouth! I ordered both the sweet and spicy sauces on the side—1) so that I can taste the actual ribs and 2) just in case I don’t like the sauce, I can go without.

The ribs without any sauce, were just a bit on the bland side. There was little smoky flavor, but they did not taste bad. I think this place relies on their sauces to give their ribs a lot of flavor. The sweet sauce was sweet, but not sickeningly so. It had a good flavor, and enhanced the flavor of the ribs. The spicy sauce had a good kick without being overwhelming. I preferred the spicy to the sweet—but this will be up to your taste.

The macaroni and cheese was super cheesy and creamy, although the pasta was just a tad overcooked—but again, teeth are not required! The coleslaw also tasted home made and had a tasty sauce on it.

My wife had the grilled chicken breast, which she found was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor.

We also tried the fried pickles, which were thinly sliced and fried to a nice crisp texture. These were some of the best we’ve had.

Angie was our server and she was friendly, heppful and attentive.

Overall, this is a place we can see ourselves visiting again when we want a nice cozy place to have some wonderful country cookin’!

If you’re passing through southern Indiana and in the mood for some good grub in a tiny town, take the detour and stop here. It really is a place to write home about!

Last several times had to wait 30-45 minutes past what was told even when it wasn’t busy. Most recently 7/25 waited 40 minutes past pickup time for a total of 85 minutes.. When you do get you food finally it’s never correct. I get the owner can’t find help but maybe don’t run a restaurant if you can’t do basic things like estimate order time or follow a ticket. Hiring is the least of their worries it’s like this even with very few people there. The last three orders I put it it’s been the same experience. Save your time and go to Bandon tavern.

Great Food, Great Service, if you're within distance of here you should stop. The Coca Colas were crisp and fresh, the pork tenderloin was fantastic, and the service on a very nice Sunday afternoon was also fantastic. Would recommend
