I used to like J's Dairy Inn when they had a location in Richmond. I loved their food and the Jojo Fries, which are French Fries with the skins on them. They also catered the Christmas dinner every year when I worked at Sears many years ago. Unfortunately, they closed, and the only J's open now is the location in Liberty. I have longed for it for a long time, but just never got around to going there. I was on my way to a show, so I stopped there to eat. I ordered...
We ordered our food and waited 40 minutes. We asked counter if it was ready, and they said they were waiting on the buns. No compensation or even an "I'm sorry for your wait." It is a fast food type restaurant. You order at a counter and pick up your order when the number is called. The food was very good, service poor.
I dined in and got the pizza burger, double Patty with cheese in the middle. It definitely satisfied my hunger for lunch.
