Disappointed in the food. Tasteless. Taco salad with no seasonings, beef Manhattan bland. Seems the cook that day must be serving bland foods across the board. We won’t be back.

Group of 3. All of us got the catfish special. Bar was very loud with senior crowd telling old sports stories. No foul! Food arrival was slow. No fault of staff as there was only two working. Catfish breading is just cornmeal. Zero flavor. The onion rings were good.
Maybe we just caught a bad night and poor food choice. We’ll give it another shot.

So this was a accidental find. We were on our way to Chicago and was just checking for local eats. We found Messers. This place was a 80s baby playground. The paintings on the walls and signage was all from a better time. The atmosphere and the waitress was awesome. The food was good but was your basic bar food. Coming through here again next year and will definetly be a stop on the way!!

Ordered a southwest chicken wrap and it was one of the worst things I’ve ever had !! There was 6 small cut up pieces of chicken in it and it was mainly breading and the rest of it was just loaded with lettuce. There was suppose to be bacon, beans, and corn in it and there was maybe like 5 pieces of each and no sauce! Got fries as a side and got maybe 10 and my husband also only got 10 fries with his burger, now we have to make something else for dinner.

We arrived Sunday evening at 630pm. We ordered sandwiches and received our order at 740pm. Others that came in later received theirs before us. We went to our car to get a wine opener because the bartender couldn't find one and my husband had to open the bottle for her. I "upgraded" to onion rings that came cold. I asked for warm ones and never received before finishing my sandwich. We're from the area and believe in supporting local business. But after repeated visits and the experiences we've had, we'll take our hard earned dollars elsewhere.
