Food and service was outstanding. I will be going back often!
Really like the place nice decor and good food hope they can keep it going, logansport needs a place like this
Wonder experience tonight.
The food was good.. Was only first time for me here. Nice setup inside, loved looking at the fire in the window.
Our Fireside meals were less than stellar tonight. Hubby's salmon was overcooked. My shrimp scampi had so much lemon (not mentioned in the menu) in it, it was too tart to eat. They gave us a free dessert. Also, now the non-alcoholic drinks come in plastic Coke glasses. WTH?!?!
We had a meeting last night here with a possible new customer! Great place for a business meeting. We had the back room which was fairly private. We ended up going after hours and as always the staff was very accommodating! Great place! Food and staff are great! Always great service and wonderful food. Again this is the best place in the area!
Loved that they had a messaging system that told you your wait time. Drinks were not replenished very timely. 20 minutes after ordering food they came out to tell us that they were out of what I ordered. I asked if I ordered something else if I would get a discount and they said yes so I got crab cakes which were not very good and barely any meat inside them. I believe it should have come with a side and I did not get a side either. The crab cakes were twice as much as what i originally ordered and when I got ticket they only gave me $2 off my meal. I liked the cheese cube that came on salad. My mates king cut beef was good. Au Jus sauce had no flavor. Caesar salad was not a Caesar salad. Our friends fish was over cooked and he did not even eat it. However they did comp that thankfully. When I spend $$ on a evening out I would like it to be tasty. We were not impressed.
Have been waiting to try since open and left very disappointed. Very pricey for very small portions. I had the Veal and it was very tough and tried the meatballs for appetizer and you get 3 about the size of a quarter for about $8. The waitresses did great, I even overheard a table order a tea and the restaurant was out so she ran to the gas station next door to buy her a tea with her own money. I think I will just stick with Applebees's!
Was a totally enjoyable dining experience...the food was excellent as was the service! And did we mention that Nikki treated us like family? Can't wait to go back and try other menu selections! Loved the decor, too!
If you haven't been to this restaurant in awhile, you're in for a delightful surprise. Same name but now an Italian eatery. The interior and been completely remodeled. Gone are the musty, smoke smells replaced by aromas of pasta, breads, and sauces.

The new owners and management have created something amazing. Service is far better than I had anticipated with it all being new all around. The menu has so many things I'll be going back to try for sure. No complaints on anything I ordered. Great food, great drinks and an awesome dining experience. Waitresses are very attentive and personable. I didn't feel like just another customer. I walked out feeling like I had made new friends in the waitress and management. I just can't say enough good things about it, despite the hiccups that come with a new restaurant, you all are killing it! Great job and keep it up!!
This was my first visit to try Fireside with my husband. We were very excited to try it as we heard great things about it since it had been under new ownership. I will say the decor and interior was nicely remodeled and very up to date. I was pleased to see all the waiters and waitresses dressed in all black as it looked very professional. However, we were very disappointed with our experience. We arrived around 6:00 on Friday night and we're seated around 6:15-6:20. After placing our order the waitress came back to inform us that my husband's steak entree was sold out. He then reordered to an alternative steak entree. Then at 7:15 we were informed for a 2nd time that both our entrees were sold out and that we would have to reorder for a 3rd time. Needless to say, we got our check and will maybe retry in the next several months.
Very good food nice place to eat
Service was very poor, plates were nearly tossed down, drinks had to be asked for, tea and Pepsi tasted like medicine, and food was skimpy. Few items of what we ordered tasted good.
Ok seldom do I like or bother to complain but this meal was over $50 and not worth half that. Starter salad is fairly bland and quite small-lettuce and a single bell pepper strip; I had prime rib and it was salty to the point I could not eat all of it. Baked potato tasted microwaved...olives in my bloody mary were good ... well vodka was strong but not what I had in mind when I asked for "top shelf." The waitress was very nice and even though the decor was dated there is definitely potential for a delicious and intimate restaurant if the chef is retrained.
