What an incredible gem!! The server was incredibly friendly, answered our questions and was able to make tasty recommendations. It was very roomy, and the atmosphere lent it itself to be groups or family events, yet cozy enough for a date night. Chocolate milkshakes are not listed on the menu, however if you ask you will get one that is perfect! I have only been to Logansport twice, but this restaurant would certainly be worth a trip back.

We had a half dozen people in our party and we lingered because the group was catching up. The waitress did a good job keeping up with us and working the rest of the room The group ordered a mix of meals between salad, sandwiches and breakfast. My breakfast was good and filling.
Parking: There is parking near the door, I thought it was Handicap Parking but I do not remember if there is a ramp. We walked up stairs to enter.

When I walked in and it appeared I stepped into a retirement home cafeteria, I should have known the food would be bland. Nothing was horrible, just no seasonings had been harmed for sure. They cater to a certain crowd and do that well, maybe I will come back when I get my AARP card.

8/1/24@5:50pm. We decided to meet our family here and have a mini family reunion. We all got here around 6 pm, and were seated right away in the bar/lounge area of the restaurant. I got the opened faced beef Manhatten, and my wife got the catfish filets. Food prep was just a little slow, but boy, was it really worth it! The beef manhatten was cooked to perfection, and the catfish was excellent as well. Our server was great with keeping everyone in drinks and answering any questions. Logansport has had something of a Renaissance here if late as the city looked really nice with all the flowers hanging on the street lights. But the highlight was indeed the westside diner! It's not really a hidden gem, but it's not well known either. If you get a chance to experience it, don't miss the opportunity.
