The new owners know what they r doing making gyros. This place is up there with Munster gyro. That's saying alot. Right amount of food for the right price way to go. Final a good place in lowell to eat

I have been to Athens recently and loved my food choices both times. The chicken pita and gyros platter were both so delicious. The homemade tzatziki did it for me!!! The staff is very welcoming. I will definitely be recommending Athens to my family and friends.

Best take out in Lowell hands done. Ive had the burgers, philly cheese steak, and gyros so far and they were 10 out of 10. The baklava is amazing as well.

Been here a couple times and the food is amazing! Staff is friendly and the gyros are the best around. Best barbecue sauce also with the boneless wings! Greek fries delicious!!!!!!! Very broad menu, everything I’ve tried has been great.
I've loved Athens for years. They recently changed owners and I want the old owners back! The tzatziki is flavorless. The grilled chicken on pita is flavorless (despite being told they marinate it overnight). The lemon rice has an odd flavor to it and is very thin (the rice clumped at the bottom of the bowl and the top was a thin broth). The gyros meat was good, but those are frozen from the vendor so hard to mess up.
I was super disappointed and improvements need to be made asap. I don't want to drive all the way to CP every time I want a gyros or chicken pita.
