We moved to Lowell 5 years ago. This place used to be one of my favorites. Good food and prices were decent. This establishment has switched hands many times since then. The food has declined in quality while its prices continue to rise. Gyros platter $19.23 with taxes! The meat was overcooked, and the portion was skimpy. Absolutely not worth the quality of food. Sadly, I will not be patronizing this establishment any time soon.

Ordered Chicago style hotdogs and they were not good - never saw a hot dog that color and never tasted a hotdog like that -they did not use Vienna pickles they had some other kind of pickles on there and the taste was terrible- threw the meals away

Burgers used to be really good. Last couple times they weren't. Fries were bad too. I was disappointed, not that many good burger places in town. Menu seems to focus on a lot of Mexican dishes now. I don't know if owners changed or just the menu but I definitely won't be going back. Sign says Dickys Dogs not Dickys Mexican.

when we first moved to Lowell this place was a good substitute to get a beef and fries. about 6 months ago something happened and its terrible. 0-3 on our last 3 tries. disappointed. back to Portillos we go, until something new catches my attention.

This place is okay. The place itself is different, and I like the look and feel. However, their food is just okay, and for the price, I expect much better quality and taste. They are the most expensive taco joint in Lowell by far. The biggest issue I have besides the taste is the wait. We've visited this establishment a handful full of times since we moved in, and there hasn't been a single time that the food has been ready. I always call ahead and order, I am always told 15 minutes until it's ready, and it's always ready way beyond that. Last time, it was 45 minutes from when I called to when it was ready. That's sitting and waiting for 30 minutes. This time was better, onky because I came over 30 minutes after ordering and guess what, still wasn't ready. Then, when I got home, I asked for double rice since I'm not getting beans, but I still got only one thing of rice in each taco dinner.... don't worry though I got chips and salsa for the wait. Yay.... 🙄

This will be our last time visiting. Really makes me miss living in Chicago 😔

just got 2 gyro platters and on top of the fact that it was $36 for both, they put black olives in and the meat tasted sour. garbage!

My husband and I frequent your establishment. Everything on the menu, from the quesadillas, to the beef, to the hot dogs, and now we tried the gyro burgers are incredible!!!!! Keep up the amazing work and the friendly atmosphere and staff. We love to see small businesses succeed in Lowell. The girl at the counter had asked what nationalities we were and what food we liked, which made us wonder if you have new owners now. If so, welcome to Lowell! Thank you for continuing to make great food. 😊

Not sure if they changed owners recently or what, 5-6 years ago this place was great but is horrible now. Made an online order for delivery. Took two phone calls to the restaurant to get my food delivered. Was supposed to be delivered between 6:30-6:40, didn’t show up till after 8. Horrible experience. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered a kids meal and a hot dog and fries 21 dollars and some change. No air conditioning. I waited 20 mins in the sweltering at least for the food. I thought I would try it again after a few months ago trying it after apparent new owners. 3 people just sat around and talked while waiting. I will not be back here

The food is ok, but not worth the price $5 for 1 hotdog. Chicken wrap $10, and it's 1 chicken strip, a sprinkle of cheese, and the rest is lettuce and onion. Fries are ok. Had to repeat the order 3 times, and it was still wrong. Steer clear. Pop's in Cedar Lake is cheaper and has better food.

New owners, from what I understand, but the effort is relevant. The food is good for a sandwich shop prices are where you would expect them, higher. The people are super nice and hopefully stick to it!
