This place has the best food!! Everything that I have tried I have loved from the Philly cheese steak to the Italian beef Chicago dog fried pickles cheese fries even their pickles are good!!!. Lowell really needed this place!!

First time at Dicky’s Dogs and it was a good experience I’m not from the area and I really didn’t know what I wanted and my friend spoke of them highly. Usually I do not get Mexican food from a place that also sells American food but I decided to give it a try. I got the 3 steak tacos with rice and beans with verde sauce. My friend got a steak quesadilla with no onions. While we waited outside, the person came outside to confirm what kind of tortilla I wanted. I appreciated him wanting to get the order right. Finally. The taste. It has a good flavor profile. I would have like the sodium to be pulled back a bit in the beans but everything wasn’t as seasoned so I appreciate the saltiness that worked with the meal overall. Will return ? I am a fan of this place. Not a big parking lot but that’s typical for a place that’s like a hole in the wall with good food.

They serve Mexican food now! I tried their Torta and it was very good especially with their salsa Verde! Very appreciative to have a place that delivers anything from gyros to tortas! 5 out of 5!!!
The food was done quickly, hot, and tasty. Service was friendly and they brought our food out to us. I would recommend this place.

Place used to have great Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, hotdogs, and wraps but has obviously gotten new owners or something from a few years ago. Ordered 3 Philly cheesesteaks, paid for extra green peppers, onions, and mushrooms and both literally had one small slice of green pepper and not enough grilled onions or mushrooms to taste and all three were half as big as they used to be and very dry. Single Chicago dog that automatically comes with fry’s is now $6 and fry’s with every sandwich were all pretty over done yet soggy from the way they packaged everything in styrofoam now. Used to have a gyro wrap that was amazing and pretty large however now you have to order a Greek wrap and add gyro meat which would be fine if it wasn’t less than half the size and they put no lettuce on wrap that listed lettuce as the first ingredient and did the same with the grilled chicken wrap which was also less than half of the old ones. Ordered a regular gyro which they also hardly put any meat on compared to before. Last thing was fried pickles which was the only good thing in a $76 order. Don’t leave many reviews or comments unless something is really good or really bad and Dickys has sadly fallen from former to latter category, it’s really sad to see a place we used to eat at regularly decline so much from what I’m guessing is new owners. This has happened twice now(regrettably gave a second chance after last time because of what it used to be, unfortunately to a much larger order) Please save your money and time and go somewhere else in the region, there are still quite a few places to get the same foods that are much better quality and better portions and prices. Hopefully this’ll save someone from the disappointment of a very poor meal. This is definitely not the same place as it used to be if you also used to enjoy going there like us :( Definitely will not be giving a third chance to new owners! And no I’m not just cheap or someone who just likes to find something to complain about, it takes a lot to get me to take the time to write a review like this… something either has to be very good or in this case very bad.Parking: Parking has always been really bad here. Narrow and small with 3 spots on one side and 4 on the other but almost impossible to getting out of parking spot if cars are on opposite side behind you.(used to be worth it for the food but sadly not anymore)Wheelchair accessibility: First snow of the year and ramp and stairs were both uncleared and icy.

The enthusiasm of the front counter girl was dismal. We ordered the 2 hot dog meal, and extra order of fries and small chocolate shake and it was $18! The fries were mixed old with new.The girl (counter girl) dropped of food she just dropped it on the table and walked away. The shake was dropped off without a straw. Anytime she wasn't getting our food or shake she was on her cell phone talking.The place could be a nicer place if the air is fixed and had a coat of paint. You need to get people with personality not just a pulse. Prices are pretty lofty for basically a hot dog stand. I hope to see changes then we will come back.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible

This place USED TO BE good. However it is under new ownership and the quality has seriously went downhill. 1.very slow 2. Quality of food they are using definitely cheaper quality. Not impressed at all. Sucks whoever did own the place allowed them to keep the name. Because now if I hear Dicky dogs I will not suggest it as a favorite. If youre hungry and need to eat it at bare minimum just ok. There are better restaurants very close by. Update... they have much improved since my last review. Food is much better!!!
