This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Chips were stale and salsa tasted like tomatoes with no flavor. Tacos shells were stale and carne asada was tasteless.

I just can't comprehend how people love this place. The food is bland and the service is atrocious. Having lived in this area for decades, I've given this place many different opportunities to show me what everyone raves about. I have never had a good experience here, not even at the original site which I first visited when I lived in crown point and had people telling me this was the place to get great Mexican food ( early 2000s). My last visit was several years ago, my daughter had won a ten dollar gift certificate from the Lowell library, so we decided to, again, give it a try.... It was the last time we ever set foot in this establishment. We ordered some basic dinners; tostadas, tacos, rice, beans, margaritas and a soft drink. Our waitress came, took our order and she never came back. The food and drinks were served by other staff and we never had any further service. I actually had to go up to the cashier and tell them we needed our check because our waitress never returned. The food was bland and the service was the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. If you want Mexican food head to any other place because this place is the pits!

I love their steak burritos! Very generous on chips and salsa, unlike the Mexican restaurant near me! I've been going there 15 + years. Way back when they only had the red barn. Never disappointed!

I can put this 100 different ways but I'll tell you this. They load you up for what you're paying. I'm from Fresno. I've had Mexican out that way and then Tex-Mex and this place is nothing like that. It's true traditional. The closest thing I've had to Mexican food that's good was from El Centro California. I highly recommend this to anybody that likes traditional Mexican cuisine. Impressive and thank you for having me! Your service is second to none!
