We have tried the liver onions and the cheeseburgers. Their vegetables are always fresh. Their bathrooms are clean. The help does a great job. The atmosphere is prairie relaxed, and we always get extra coleslaw to go. It’s about 35 minutes away from our house, but it is well worth the drive.
Our server Amber E. was so sweet and relatable (which is hard to find). We're from Evansville, IN, and we decided to stop in for lunch. They have the BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my 48yrs of life, and they cooked it to order! Some of the best ranch dressing as well!! A small, cute, laid-back casual Cafe style restaurant. Even the salad and green beans were amazing!!! Thank you, Van's! We'll be back!

And the Dutch Apple pie with ice cream, what can I say? We will definitely be going back.
