I usually get take out my whole family eat there a lot but its been hit or miss lately and the food is always prepared different every time and all we get usually are quesadillas and tacos, I went there with my kids for lunch and it was horrible unfortunately, service wasn't very good and the food was overcooked and dry and the kids rice was burnt on every single piece of rice and I thought they had bugs in their rice but im pretty sure it was just burnt, the drinks were weird tasting from the fountain machine and cheese dip was somewhat a warm blob.
It's a youth building used to be a five-star billiard, lots of good memories at this place.. those that know me from back in the day.. I was definitely there,, anyways now with the Mexican food restaurant, they have very good food not had any complaints, they're decently fast, they do deliver.. you can order and have delivered through doordash. What's it being a used older building it's kind of a medium atmosphere. Definitely got lots of space. Staff is nice they try their best with English not too bad. So if you like Mexican give this place a good try because they definitely will exceed your expectations on taste buds:-) they also have Mexican Coke product and several other Mexican items that might be hard to find at the other places. Definitely take the family. Overlook the small imperfections. Thanks and have a wonderful day

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I like the spicy sauce that comes with the street tacos. They have a good selection on the menu. They do not have a liquor license so no margaritas for me.

We stopped by here on our way home and absolutely loved the food! It was delicious! The restaurant itself isn't the nicest place but it doesn't matter when the food is this good. Our service was average at best. We asked our waitress for more chips and salsa and she never brought out. We ended up asking someone else and they brought it out. There were only 2 other people dining in the restaurant so there's no excuse to not have better service. There were also kids that were related to the employees running all around and at one point ended up in the booth with my wife which almost caused me to leave. They finally realized the kids were climbing all over my wife and they took them into the back. With all this being said we would absolutely return to Esmeralda's because the food was so good!
