Stayed at the Inn on a Friday night. There were no signs noting buffet only. There is a soup/salad option that also was not mentioned. Chicken was over cooked and had been setting out. Fish tasted like canned tuna. Three options for meat, chicken, fried popcorn shrimp and baked fish. What a joke for $21.99

I believe the waitress forgot about us...the food came out slightly warm as if it was underneath a food warmer a bit too long. The somewhat dry edges of the instant potatoes and the house chips were hard and cold indicated time underneath the warmer. Pretty much cafeteria food.

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. The first night we figured we would eat at the restaurant. We went down around 7 and they said they had the buffet which we are not buffet people. We thought they had a resturant with a menu. The food was okay but not worth the price if we had known the resturant was a buffet we would had planned differently. The positive is that the service was great our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ended up getting salad bar. After dinner we stocked up on snacks at the Inn. In the future we will know not to plan to eat here.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The server was great- the food was great. Make this a destination if you are going to Turkey Run!

Parking: The parking is nice, a small walk from the parking lot to the entrance. However, you are able to drive up to the entrance if needed for drop-off.

I was looking forward to going to the Narrows Restaurant as it has been an old-time favorite. I looked up the menu on the State Park site and the selections seemed quite appealing. Upon arrival, there were very few people in the restaurant. This should have been the first red flag. There was no warning that it was a buffet-only day until seated. We had driven several miles and decided to proceed with the buffet.

BEWARE, it was $21.99 each not including a drink. You will spend nearly $60.00 for two including tax and tip, and not including drinks or dessert.

The food was nothing special and the salad lettuce was brown and obviously from a bag.

If you are set on going after my thoughts, I suggest you phone in advance to see if you can order off the menu on the day you're visiting.

As an option, and only a mile away, is "Up the Creek" Restaurant. They offer a very good selection and half the price.

Our server was the only positive for the evening as she had a good personality.

Won't be returning!

At approx $25/pp, the buffet was the only option when we dined. Food was just ok, service was lacking, and things went from bad to worse when we were given our total and then told to wait to check out (because we never got the check). I'd say $10-15/pp is more inline with the food and service here, lesson learned, we won't be going back.

Parking: Free parking once you pay to get into the park.

My issue is value for price. Buffet for a 5 year old should not be $15. And no menu, just buffet option. Years ago this restaurant was good, but not now.

Staying at the inn. They had a buffet dinner only. The food was very dry and bland. Fried chicken was dry and needs seasoning. Salmon was dry as well. Definitely not worth the outrageous price. Will be driving 10 miles to find some good food tomorrow.

Go in, be nice and they will take care of you. We had a blast. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Just let them know if you need something and they got ya.

Our stay at the Turkey Run Inn was very nice. However, the Narrows Restaurant was a disappointment. The prices were about 20 percent higher than other restaurants in the area. The portions were meager by most standards.Other places in the area are a gas station across the road from the park for sandwiches and "Rural Indiana" atmosphere. A NICE place. Also the "Past Time Cafe" in Rockville is a 15 minute drive for a menu with wide variety and reasonable prices and large farmhouse portions. Try the Walleye for a real treat.

I think this is the one area where Turkey run is missing out. It’s the only restaurant at the park and anywhere nearby. Beautiful setting. Had 4 meals during my stay. All buffet and appeared to be overpriced. Place was clean, and even though it was severely understaffed, everyone worked together and made it a good experience. Only food options was a buffet. Buffet was clean and full of food. Just everything that could be overcooked and dry was. It was easily edible but just for the price point and location, it should have been much better.

Typical food choices for an eatery within a state park. Quality was average, but none the less it was good food. The server was very friendly and attentive. We would certainly come back again if we returned to the park.

After a long day of hiking, we were too tired to cook at camp, so we decided to let The Narrows restaurant do the cooking. What a wonderful experience! We enjoyed GREAT food & had the BEST waitress! Misty was very attentive to our needs. She connected with us & gave us the most memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!
