My wife and I had dinner there after walking around the fall festival on the square. I didn't even know it existed, but I figured I'd try it because I like "good" BBQ. I ordered the Brisket Brigade, some of the best smoked Brisket I have ever had. Juicey, tender and delicious. We will definitely be back again and again.

I’d give them six stars if I could. Wife and I split a dinner sampler for two, and every last thing on the sampler was fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly. Strongly recommend and will be back.

I’m sorry to leave a bad review but it’s honest. The food - easy 10/10. The atmosphere is also very solid. The service, no exaggeration, the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant before.
On 9/14/2024, my family and I came in for a late lunch. It was def busy, but not filled to capacity. We sat at our table for exactly 35min before anyone even came to get our drink order. - I asked for a Quaff On beer and the waitress responded, “I can’t get that for you, someone else will have to” (ok… the let’s just make that happen instead of giving me that kind of response, as I’m already quite irritated at this point for being neglected so long). -My wife asked if they had carbonated water, she responded, “I’m not sure.” (Ok… go ask then…???) - I asked if I placed a food order now, approx how long is the kitchen running to get orders out, she responded, “I don’t know.” (I wanted to know…. We had just waited 35min just to get recognized that we were sitting there, it was a legit question).
We got up and left. Went to wings etc. I’ve had the food here at the food truck during a drag racing event, and it was def 10/10, but the service of the restaurant was truly awful, borderline offensive.
I would love to see a local Martinsville company make it here, but with service like this, it is just going to be another statistic in this town. This place needs to get it together because I absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone in the community.

Excellent BBQ, baked beans, coleslaw. Very reasonable priced. Pet friendly and took care of are Frenchie with water on the patio. Will be back for more. Very friendly staff.

This woman is horrible. She let me stand at the door until I asked if I could sit anywhere. Then she attacked me saying that she told me that I could sit anywhere. She did not say that or I would have heard. Rudest people!
The food here was delicious! But you need to get these for staff some more staff! They were running around doing everything and they were overworked and overwhelmed. Which also backed everything up and made everything go very slow. We were there almost 2 hours just for a quick Meal that we shared. Also if you rearrange, I think you could probably fit in a few more tables. Definitely busy, so if you’re in a hurry, don’t go here. Also there was a two hour wait. The food was also Super slow to come out, but was all good. Waitress was frazzled.

The hostess was our waitress, and she did great. They were short on staff and everyone was hopping! I had the brisket, sliced - it was great! I would go back!
Beautiful day the wife and I chose to sit outside they have a nice outdoor area really relaxing atmosphere and fabulous food. We got the sampler for 2 and plenty of food even enough to take home and enjoy the next day.
