This was our first visit to Gather Around. We were quickly seated. The food was great!. My husband had the ribs, onion rings, and candied bacon. One of our friends had bbq chicken, onion rings, and coleslaw. Our other friend had the Carolina bbq, candied bacon and potato salad I had the special - a tenderloin and fries. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Just wish the wait staff would have been a little more attentive by refilling our drinks. There was a lot of carryout orders. We will go there again.Parking: At 6pm on a Thursday evening, lots of street parking was available.
Very kind staff, helpful when trying to ask for recommendations. We got wings (Asian and mild bbq) which were meaty wings and very tasty! The brisket sandwich combo with corn nuggets was also good, brisket was tender but more of a pot roast flavor if you like that. Last we shared some fried biscuits with apple butter, always delicious. We will definitely stop again when in town.

We stopped here for a late lunch on our way to Brown County. I’m so glad we did! We were able to find easy parking & the building is well marked. We were seated promptly upon arrival! The pulled pork was delicious, and my daughter says the coleslaw is the best she’s had. My husband raved that the brisket was fantastic, as well. Our server was very kind and attentive to us family of five. We grabbed some desserts to take with us - banana pudding, cheesecake, and some Rice Krispies. Everything is fresh and served in large portions. Highly recommend stopping here for a meal!

First timer here, and definitely not the last! Stopped in for carryout and ordered the BBQ Wedge Salad. I have to honestly say that is the best salad I’ve ever had, and it’s not even close. Mounds of delicious bacon and smoked chicken over a huge wedge; absolutely spot on. Consider me a regular.

First time here, came to town for the candy store and decided to eat BBQ.Restaurant was clean and good atmosphere! I ordered the brisket brigade sandwich: meat was the dried out and lacked any flavor. The cheese sauce on the meat was kind of weird addition? Had a side of mediocre fried pickles and baked beans, which was the best thing on the plate actually.

I went here for lunch today and got the pulled pork nachos and all I can say is they were amazing ???? the staff were very friendly this was a very welcoming atmosphere this had a great small town feel to it where everyone says hello the only down side I found was the parking unfortunately there’s not much for parking but the great food and atmosphere made up for it tremendously I drive from Bloomington just to try this place and I will be doing again ??????

Friendly and prompt service with a smile. The food here was excellent I had a dish of tater tots, pulled pork with the house BBQ sauce. One of the best meals that I have had that taste like comfort and home cooking wrapped into 1. Place was not too full when were there but is seemed nice good music playing, there are tvs etc.
Keeps getting better. Reasonable price for what you're getting. Sides are good and made fresh after order. No complaints over the past few visits. My brother is picky and like the hamburger he had. Tenderloin sandwich is Indiana worthy.
