You really can't beat this place for a casual meal and some ice cream. The simple food like the double cheeseburger is as simple and good as a double cheeseburger should be. The lamb over rice is also really good, good enough I had to save some for my wife to try (and I'm a fat guy).
To echo what others have said, the food did not look like the photo and we had a rough time ordering because the plate, as it was listed on the dinner menu, wasn't what the picture made it look like, apparently. Our food was decent but we were the only ones in the place around dinner time. Their ice machine was out of ice, that was a bummer, too, on a hot day. This was my 1st time dining at Mr. Gyros and the gyro plate and fries were delicious!! The amount of meat was very generous, enough to take home for later. I will definitely be going back again to try more of the menu items.
