The food was ok, and the service was lacking. Took 45 mins for food. No refills offered. Disappointed in entire experience.

This little tavern was a real treat. It is very "back-woodsy". Tiny little place. The food was awesome. Beer was ice cold. The staff and regulars were super friendly. Really enjoyed the experience. If you don't go here to try the tenderloin, you are missing out!!! OMG. Can't wait to go back.

I've finally made it here and tried their famous tenderloin.
It was H U G E, perhaps 5 pounds of meat!
So, well- worth the money.
I would've preferred it to be more 'juicy', rather than 'greasy'. Could've been much more seasoned.
No gristle. No fat.
TONS of flies. Lots of cigarette smoke. But it's a tavern, so what do you expect? Had to get mine to go, so as not to have to compete with the flies.
Friendly staff.

Very good pork tenderloin. Food makes up for the lack of ambiance.

Good food
Staff was very rude. This place was on one of the top ten tenderloin in the state on the Top things to do in Indiana, it even said it was a family pub. It is not, maybe just because it's the Cover Bidge festival weeks. I have not had the tenderloin but staff was rude. Update after eating their food

Amazing food. Fresh catfish sammy and delicious burger. They were understaffed the day we were there, but I can’t wait to go back.

We drove approximately 2:20 minutes to try this place out, I have to say it was well worth the drive! Probably the best tenderloin I’ve ever had, and I have tried a lot. I feel that it takes first place over Nicks restaurant in Huntington, In. And that’s some big shoes to fill, I have seen Nick’s tenderloin on multiple tenderloin trail list as number one. And the pretzel was great!

Small place a hole in a wall type. Great food. Breaded tenderloin is the best around. Good cheese curds too.

Let me start off with the BIG Pretzels are amazing as well as the Big Tenderloin, the food was a little slow coming out but in the defense of the cook she was by herself and doing the best she could, service was ok not horrible by any means she could have maybe asked if we wanted refills the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the guy smoking at the table by us I think they could have smoking at the bar or the outside dining area preferably if they kept it outside but all in all it is a good place to eat and I would highly recommend it.
