This little tavern was a real treat. It is very "back-woodsy". Tiny little place. The food was awesome. Beer was ice cold. The staff and regulars were super friendly. Really enjoyed the experience. If you don't go here to try the tenderloin, you are missing out!!! OMG. Can't wait to go back.
I've finally made it here and tried their famous tenderloin.
It was H U G E, perhaps 5 pounds of meat!
So, well- worth the money.
I would've preferred it to be more 'juicy', rather than 'greasy'. Could've been much more seasoned.
No gristle. No fat.
TONS of flies. Lots of cigarette smoke. But it's a tavern, so what do you expect? Had to get mine to go, so as not to have to compete with the flies.

We drove approximately 2:20 minutes to try this place out, I have to say it was well worth the drive! Probably the best tenderloin I’ve ever had, and I have tried a lot. I feel that it takes first place over Nicks restaurant in Huntington, In. And that’s some big shoes to fill, I have seen Nick’s tenderloin on multiple tenderloin trail list as number one. And the pretzel was great!
