The best spot to stop along the Whitewater Canal Trail for an ice cream they have the best handmade hand dipped ice cream I've ever had they also have one awesome collection of cookie jars this is a sight to see.

3 star on food cause I didn't eat here.But the shop keep was very attentive. She greeted us as we walked in, told us some of the history of the place, and checked in with us twice as we wandered about. I didn't buy anything on that trip but you'd better bet that I will next time! All the antique and silly themed jars, shakers, and glasses are too amazing to pass up.

Did you know this place has the world record for the most cookie jars? This place has delicious ice cream ?? and It's more than reasonably priced. I'd say it's better than cold stone creamery. Just be careful if you have small children there's a lot of things you can break in here.

The best damn ice cream in the world! And the waffle cones are homemade fresh right there, and they have a lil secret surprise of love in the bottom ;)It’s also fascinating to admire all the cookie jars. I’ve been going for years and still find new cookie jars! I’ve been visiting them for over 20 years when they were in another building even and still, the smell of them fresh cones takes me back to the first time as a lil girl holding my momma and daddy’s hands. You can’t go to Metamora and not go here!

Goodness everyone seems to love the ice cream they serve here. At least if you peruse the reviews. We loved the price. It was super cheap for a couple of scoops. That was a true value. That was very much appreaciated. Overall the ice cream was good but to be honest they buy it not make it homemade. They do make the waffle cones. This place does have over 3000 cookie jars. It is actually a bit unnerving with signs saying you break it you buy it! Ha ha, we were on our best behavior to make sure we were not clumsy. It was interesting to see all of the different types of cookie jars they had collected and for sale here. For us this was an interesting way to spend 30 minutes to cool off and have a couple of scoops.

Never knew a person could have so many cookie jars! Over 3,200 in one building!!! Also..they have super good homemade waffle cones and good hard dip ice cream! Such a fun stop for a hot afternoon.

I live in north carolina but I'll be back this place is amazing. Best ice cream hands down and homade waffle cones we got them fresh. Soooo good my girls loved them and the store is simple amazing. If you haven't visited this place your missing out
