This place is really unique. They layout is cool and different. Burgers are great, fries almost perfect and the staff was really nice. Thanks for a good lunch!

Wonderful Staff and gave us history on the house & town!

High prices with small portions. The fish platter is a joke. 3 small pieces of fish with a handful of fries for $17. The waitress was stressed out and high strung. We were seated in the back sode room by the fireplace and could hear commotion and arguing from the kitchen.

We came on the train with a 2 hour layover, and waited 90 minutes for our food. Not once did the server come back and check on us for refills, or explain that there would be an extensive wait. We paid 90 dollars to take a couple of bites of food and rush back to the train so that we did not get left behind, and they still forgot the kids meals. No time to explore or enjoy the town. We were given a haphazard sorry about the wait as we were cashing out. We were near the kitchen and had to listen to them complaining about everyone that left and having a bunch of extra food, while we were still waiting on ours. I wanted to love this place, but it ruined our entire day trip. The kitschy feel of the place was kind of neat, but not worth returning for.

My daughter and I had dinner there last night while at the Christmas Walk. My salad was delicious, the homemade ranch dressing to die for. Their chicken noodle soup was so good and my daughter said her hamburger was great. Very nice waitress who was working hard to work under very busy conditions. Great praise to the owners! Loved the atmosphere, as well.

Fish and chips were great. They didn't have ingredients for the special bloody Mary and they brought beers in a bottle without asking if we wanted a glass. But the history and atmosphere were great.

The blackberry cobbler and the tenderloin are amazing. It is a very clean, sit-down historic restaurant. The owners and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend checking them out.

The food was okay, however we ordered chicken tenders and applesauce for my daughter from the kids menu, it literally came with ONE chicken tender and a pre-packaged apple sauce cup and cost almost $8 ?! They were busy, so we didn't get refills or checked on until it was time for the bill. We will not be going back. The food was not worth the price almost $40 without tip, for 2 adults and 1 child and all we drank was water.

The Angus Burger is good, but when it comes to The kids chicken strips they only give you one chicken strips and 1 side for $7 and its a small Chicken strip.

Was disappointed with how outdated the menu/ google information is. There were so many options on google and we were excited to try it. We showed up to a menu with 2 options (a burger and steak sandwich) and a hotdog option for kids. The burger was ok, the corn was weird, potato salad was bland, $3 for a small bag of lays chips (not even homemade), but best thing was the corn bread (homemade? doubt it). Was not worth the meal ($100 including tip for 4 adults and 2 kids). Should have gone pizza as original thought.

Edit:
Thank you for the response, but my review was a heads up for everyone else that is going there, and a helpful hint so people know what to expect there. You should update your menu and pricing on google to reflect your menu.

The BEST food. The burgers, corn on the cob, and cornbread muffins are INSANELY good. Friendly, fun vibe to grab lunch and a cold beer. We had a blast and the service is so good too. Awesome place!
