My husband and I hired them to make our daughter's Quincenera cake and 24 cupcakes in June....... It never made it, they didn't call to let us know what was going on until we called them and the party was almost over. Anyone who has had this kind of party knows the tradition in the party and how important every detail is. When they finally arrived according to them they had a "blowout tire" and nothing but three little cakes made it to the party they did give us 60 percent refund but they left it up to us to make that decision instead of just refunding our money 100 percent. They promised to make us a cake anytime we wanted at no cost but of course it was not a good time for them to make it for us at the time I needed (Saturday) today is Wednesday. Their goodies are delicious but so sorry they ruined that part of our party

Wonderful bakery. The service was great with the owner taking the time to speak with us and walking through our choices. Paid special attention to my young sons want of a croissant. We had the pumpkin pie, key lime tart, and half a dozen cupcakes. All were top notch and I would highly recommend those choices. We will be back to try others.

This is legit my favorite bakery, it's the closest I've found to Patisseries in France, Belgium and England. They make what they make for the day, and when they run out, they're out - that's how you know it's delicious and authentic. The prices compared to the size and quality of the baked goods are so reasonable, it's wild! The building is down an alleyway, so it's a literal treasure of a hole in the wall. If you're in Michigan City, you HAVE to check this place out!

I'm very late in posting this but I cannot recommend Bowler Man enough! Amanda and Mike did a fantastic job with our wedding cake (T-rex's and all) and our army of peach, apple, pumpkin, and sugar cream mini pies. Guests could not get enough of them! They were extremely helpful and just genuinely some of the best people to have worked with for our wedding. Anything you can think of and they will figure out a way to make it work. They were reliable and made sure everything was baked to perfection. I wish we lived closer as I would eat there every day! Thank you both for your dedication to making our day special :)

If you are looking for a bakery near Michigan City, Indiana, you must go to Bowler Man Confections! Amanda and Michael are so creative and can do anything you ask! For example, I asked for a woodland baby shower cake and they made the frosting look like tree bark! I’ve used them multiple times for parties and events. They made some savory pastries for a luncheon that I hosted. We just had a delicious almond coffee cake and it was the best we’ve ever had in our life. They are the best kept secret in town- their location is “hidden in the alley” off of Franklin Street.

First time visiting. Ordered a German Chocolate cake for my fiancés birthday. I was happy to find a bakery close to home who makes a homemade German chocolate. It is his favorite. The cake is delicious. Customer service is great! I will definitely be returning to try more treats!
