While I’ve always enjoyed the food here at chickpea, the service is awful. You walk in to not a single person acknowledging you’re there. We walked to the pick up counter to place a to-go order. The employees looked disgruntled as we approached them. When I asked to place a to-go order a gentleman motioned to look at some menus lying on the bar top. He handed them to us and said go sit down and we will come take your order. We sat down at a random table to no one acknowledging us once again. Ultimately after a few minutes of we walked out feeling extremely uncomfortable.

A year and a half ago this place was GREAT! Portions were huge and matched the price. Quality of everything was also good. I do not share the same opinion now. Now, the quality has gone down, my order is messed up every single time, the portions are incredibly smaller and it is not worth it. I went a month and a half ago with friends and we each got bowls. There’s a ton of different veggies in the bowl and a few of them were missing. I just brushed it off as I do not like to complain. I told myself then that I wouldn’t be back because I cannot bring myself to spend $16 on a salad and I never know what I’m getting because the salad never matches what the menu says it includes. I still decided to give them one more try. However, this will be my last time giving this business my money. I called in my order. I picked it up and brought it back to my job. The two things I asked to not be in my salad, were in my salad and they loaded me on it! When I ordered on the phone I stated multiple times what my order was. The salad was gross and had an odd taste. They AGAIN, did not include a few veggies and the veggies they didn’t include are my favorite and in my opinion, tie the salad together. The Pepperchini in my salad was soft, I spit it out and saw the seeds of the Pepperchini were brown! It was disgusting! After eating this salad I felt completely ill and the next day I am still feeling a bit off and I do not have an appetite. I called and asked if I could have a refund. They said yes, come back when you get off, so I did. When I walked in, I told them I had called a little earlier and I was told I could get a refund. The woman looked appalled and her and the male were arguing with me. I explained to them that I was told over the phone I could get a refund because I do not want my bowl remade. It was such a fuss! They just wanted to argue and when I mentioned how I felt the quality of the food isn’t the same as it was, they got extremely defensive. I will not be returning. They need to bring Pepe back. He was the best and the food was always incredible when he worked there. Not only was the food great, they were always busy! Chickpea just simply is not the sane as it used to be and I recommend saving your money. My co workers also ordered from them last week and their orders were also messed up! I do not recommend!

Wanted to go so much higher. Stopped by for a drink. Good bourbon, awsome whiskey. Bought a whiskey to go, had to share with family. Not sure what happened?¿????ended up taking entire staff home at close. I tipped them well. They did not. Will not return. Will not recommend. Will enjoy the to go whiskey, Noone will be told from where.

Went here yesterday with my husband. The food is great! It’s aesthetically pleasing and delicious. ? didn’t know about it until yesterday, which is a shame because I would have been eating here years ago. Definitely recommend the shawarma bowl and the orange blossom lemonade. ?

I used to like this place I used to come here only six months ago before I will go to college I just came here yesterday to get my husband some food before he go to work. I got the gyro platter. It was four pieces of meat and about six fries ,It was no food for $17. It’s like they cut the food in half compare to only six months ago I will not be coming back.

Arrived late afternoon on a Saturday and it seemed to be critically understaffed. The server was harried and frazzled but was clearly doing their best under the circumstances. The food was excellent. The printed menus weren’t especially well organized and rife with errors in the text. The atmosphere was a little odd in that there was bar that was half inside and open to the patio, that wasn’t well integrated into the concept. It felt like two different businesses under the same roof. As mentioned the food was excellent. It was short and limited making it much easier to decide. Portions were just right. The gyros were great, the shawarma was just a little dry but the sauce and veggies made up the difference. Loved the fries. The falafel was top notch and the tahini was unique and delicious on it. I hope the server gets some help. Will definitely be back.

Based on previous reviews, we walked in initially thinking you could order at a counter for sit in rather than being served at a table. The people working there didn’t welcome us and had a bit of a surprised look when we walked in.
There were two other tables of people there while we ordered. We ordered before the larger table, but still waited to receive our food until after they received theirs. We were hoping for a bit quicker turnaround but waited over 20 minutes from the time we put in the order.
Despite the service, the food was excellent. We had the falafel wrap and falafel pocket. Both came with deliciously seasoned fries. I would be interested in returning for the food alone.
Street parking is available and was not crowded on a late Saturday evening.
