Farina's Supper Club

I take customers to Farina's Supper Club whenever I'm in town. They always do a great job!

Farina's has such a nice atmosphere like a pretty country inn. Our food was excellent. The young man who brought out our food was setting our entrees down next to empty salad plates instead of clearing those plates to set down our dinners. It was a minor hiccup but perhaps the staff needs a little more training on that transition between courses? Overall, this was a great experience and exactly what we were looking for in an early Sunday dinner. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail!

Terrible Experience — Definitely Not Worth the Price! I don't usually post negative reviews, but this dinner was disappointing on every level. I noted a birthday celebration on the reservation and with the host when I arrived. The host barely uttered a simple “happy birthday” and no one else acknowledged it. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was bland and unevenly heated — the mushrooms were barely warm, while the filling was hot. Bread service was slow; we had to ask for it. When I finally received my shrimp risotto, it was under-seasoned, and I had to request Parmesan (then remind the server again to actually bring it). Our server lacked warmth and it felt like we were a nuisance for her. The risotto itself was awful! The shrimp had a noticeable odor — I couldn't eat more than one. And there was so much corn in the dish that it should honestly be called shrimp corn chowder, not risotto. For $44, it was ridiculous. Same with $16 for four small mushrooms. I actually took home the 'risotto' and when I came home and took the box out of the bag, I threw it out in the garbage outside because of the overwhelming odor. To make matters worse, I ordered a slightly dirty martini, and it arrived extremely dirty. Even the server commented that it “looked very dirty.” I didn't bother sending it back because she rarely checked on us — I actually had to flag another server just to ask for more bread. (The bread was good, but even that came with an apology that they'd run out and more was in the oven.) And finally, a 3% credit card fee was quietly tacked on to the bill — with zero notice beforehand. Add in all the cocktail upcharges, and it just felt chintzy and unprofessional for a place charging this much. Between the lack of service, subpar food, and inflated prices, this restaurant completely missed the mark. Definitely not worth returning to. Ordered grilled Calamari for appetizer. It was inedible, tough and smelled terrible. Eggplant parmigiana eggplant cut too thick! Lasagna was not very good!

Here's a review based on your experience: While the food at this restaurant was excellent, the service left much to be desired. We specifically requested a table away from high traffic, but instead, we were seated right by the kitchen, where the hustle and bustle were constant. The server, dressed in black saggy pants, dropped our orders on the table and then disappeared. We were left with a table full of used plates for far too long, making us feel rushed and uncomfortable as we tried to enjoy our wine. Our dinner felt more like a race against time than a relaxing meal, lasting only about 20 minutes. Given the long drive of 40 miles, the overall experience simply wasn't worth it. We likely won't be returning.

Not a full house yet slow service. Rarely did they fill water glasses. Asked for bread without cheese twice... right away... and nothing.

Food and service was outstanding as usual. My wife and I will be going back. Food and service here are usually spot on and they were last night.

The food was tremendous. Service was wonderful. Our server knew the menu by heart and very helpful.

This was our first visit to Farina's Supper Club and we had a delightful visit. The food is excellent. The grilled calamari is some of the best we've ever eaten. The white fish is perfectly prepared. The brick chicken is delicious and enough for leftovers. We also love the gelato, especially the salted caramel. The vibe is old school supper club and very cool. Farina's is a favorite and we will go back.

The lettuce in the salad was all rusty. Did not get what I ordered. When they took it back, all they did was change the sauce, so I could still taste the peppers. Two Chicken dishes were overcooked. All in all it was not a good experience.

Our first time eating at the supper club and overall was satisfied. That said, we found our server, Michael very professional, proficient and apologetic for the club being understaffed in the bar/kitchen/servers. Delay of 15min despite a reservation, another 20min before water/bread to the table, etc. When our food arrived, it was simply delicious and portions were very generous! Since our meal was so tasty, we'll definitely give Farina's another try in the future.

Quaint Italian restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. Great ambiance, awesome food and service.

Macee was a great server. The food was on point as always. Wife and I come here every year for our anniversary, never been disappointed. Love this place!!!

Evening out with friends at Farina's Supper Club was great! The food was excellent and the servings were so large two of us took home tomorrow's lunch. The appetizers were equally delicious and generous servings The drinks were good, especially the Blackberry Whiskey Sours. Our server was attentive, but not hovering and gave clear and helpful descriptions of the menu items when we asked for more information. The chocolate cake and gelatos for dessert pushed it all over the top for us!!!' We all appreciated the peaceful ambiance of the restaurant. It made it easy to have conversation without shouting over any noisy clatter or loud music that we experience in many restaurants. Impressed with the manager stopping by our table to ask how the food and service had been. We definitely will be returning again.
