Terrible bill handling, they wanted to charge more than I had asked for and even added the amount of tip they wanted, when it came to serving us, they served us with a bad face and very arrogant responses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, I will never go back. If this is Michigan City's best Mexican restaurant, M.C. obviously is NOT the place for good Mexican cuisine. From the very outset, the place is dumpy. And yes, it's dumpy on the inside, too. There were two morons there watching a movie (or video) on their Iphone with the sound cranked as loud as possible. The owner did absolutely nothing about it. I got the impression they were 'regulars'. The service was very good. The food, however, is less than average. I was given two highly Americanized enchiladas and an awful taco. It was edible....that's about it. We will not be returning.

This was our first time getting food from here and it was amazing! Some of the best tamales i’ve ever had. the service was great, the ladies were super friendly, good prices, the atmosphere was so nice, would definitely recommend and get again.

Restaurant is dirty and the woman with blonde hair said we smelled like engine oil. This restaurant is what smells. There was also not a single person in there, and it just looks very unkempt. We didn't appreciate the comment made by the server. She also bought the bill before we even asked for it, the quesadilla was OK. It was way overpriced though, the horchata we ordered was $7 for each one where other places charge $3 or less. Don't come here there is better mexican restaurants close by.
