I live in Chicago and bought a second home in MC about 5 years ago. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in MC!! We’ve been coming for years and have NEVER had a bad experience. In 5 years, I’ve had only 1 refire asked, and the wonderful female GM who’s always there delivered the refire herself to ensure it was right. I have 2 little girls who have now grown to love it too. Even with toddlers they are always so polite and accommodating to us. They really do understand true hospitality, something I don’t often see in Chicago. The wait time has never once gone over (usually 1/2 the quote time). They are a sincere group of people. So refreshing to see these days. I’ve also taken my buddies after a day of work and we will sit in the bar area that is a little more lively and full of TVs. I’ve sat at the actual bar once and made a new friend (random stranger) that travels from New Buffalo because he, like me, simply loves it. They hit on all cylinders. Are there fancier possibly better steaks in the country? Sure… but this place is an AMAZING bang for your buck. Once, my wife and I went, and we love coconut shrimp but didn’t necessarily want an entree of it, the server recommended we do a 6 piece add on as an appetizer, awesome!! They truly have your best interest in mind. So rare to see these days. Thank you Galvestons, you got a regular for life! Management, keep up the great work, it’s clear to us customers you are involved. From the top all the way to the bussers. BTW my favorite is the Prime Rib!! If you go on Friday or Saturday it’s a must try!!

Galveston steak house a great experience. The food, staff, atmosphere and owner was all great. A must of your in the area.

Location is nice. Parking is ample. Decor is dated. Food was excellent with exception of the Salmon. Very fishy taste which sounds crazy to say, but if you get it remember this warning. Lighting was very dim which made it a little hard to read the menu. Other than these things, price was reasonable for what you are getting. Ribs where fantastic btw. Service was good and food brought in timely allowing enjoyment of appetizers and salads prior to main course. Will return hopefully again soon.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The waitress was attentive and went out of her way. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was so excellent I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great food, service, and atmosphere!

I go here once in a while when I want a good ribeye steak and they always do it right. The baked sweet potato is my go to side and I always love the fried mushrooms for starter. If you ever get a chance to try the blueberry bread pudding for desert go for it it's phenomenal!

Had dinner last night Oct 18th. I ordered a Ribeye steak and Husband had the Filet and both were cooked to perfection! The best I've had. Our server Katie was awesome! Requested a Carmel apple drink and it too was delicious. The staff were busy keeping the tables clean and set up. Atmosphere was nice. Was our first time there and will definitely be back. Great management.

Perfectly cooked steak- which is hard to find these days. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the best part, NO "chain resturant feel ". I had the new york strip( pardon the sloppy picture). Thick, tender, perfect texture. I highly recommend stopping in here for an great steak when visiting
