We ordered takeout, delivery, and dine-in from Gourmet House too many times to count, and every meal was outstanding. My favorite remains the broccoli with garlic sauce, it's the best I've had anywhere. My son used to like to sit and chat with the owner's son, can't remember his name right now (Hanson?) and he was always friendly and fun. We'll be back next time we visit the 219 again!

I got the Singapore noodles and they were delicious. Very very good. The hot tea tasted like melted plastic. The place is weird and doesn't have good vibes.

This is the type of business locals need to be supporting. The food is great, friendly service and affordable prices. What’s even better is that is when you go inside you can see that it’s family owned and operated by people who seem to really care. Will eat here every time I’m in Michigan city and want Chinese food!
