Generally good experience every time I carryout. Use online ordering to get some deals. Most of the workers there are on point and rarely have any issues.

Store owned by the nicest married couple. Employees seem friendly and happy. Best cheese pizza & garlic sauce!

Flip a coin on food quality. Maybe it depends on who's working that night. Mediocre consistency. Also always has a weird smell inside. For the price they charge, there are better local options.

Not sure how a pizza with light cheese can be so greasy, but somehow these folks managed it. Also got boneless wings - mushy texture and flavorless. The service was indifferent and the atmosphere was more like a dry cleaners than a pizza place. I would recommend finding someplace else if you want good food.

My recent visit to Papa Johns in Michigan City was a classic case of good news, bad news. The good? The ordering process was a breeze, thanks to their user-friendly app, which promised a hassle-free pick-up of a tempting pizza special. And indeed, upon arrival, I was promptly notified that my pizza was “coming out of the oven.”However, that's where the smooth sailing ended. Despite the readiness alert, I found myself waiting at the counter for a not-insignificant 10 to 15 minutes. The reason for the delay remained a mystery, as no explanation was provided, leaving me to wonder if there had been a mix-up with my order.During my wait, the atmosphere inside the store was somewhat disrupted by a recurring visitor, a gentleman in soaked sweatpants, who seemed to be on familiar terms with the place, frequently asking for various items. His presence added an unexpected and rather uncomfortable element to the visit.Another point of concern was the security measure mentioned. A sign indicating that doors would be locked and that customers should knock to gain entry suggested that the location might have security issues. While safety precautions are essential, such measures can inadvertently contribute to a less than welcoming environment. When I finally received my pizza, it was standard Papa Johns fare—decent, reliable, and satisfying. Yet, the overall experience was tinged with the curious and unsettling events of the wait.In summary, while the food at Papa Johns Pizza in Michigan City met expectations, the service hiccup and the peculiar atmosphere in and around the store made for a somewhat off-kilter experience. It was fine for a quick pick-up, but it might not be the first choice if you're looking for a seamless and comfortable experience.

Only reason I put two stars was because of the price pizza undercooked breadsticks, overcooked

I usually go to the one in LaPorte, but went to this one instead. Mistake for sure. Pizza was nowhere near the quality expected of a Papa Johns. Disgusting trash was worse than Little Caesars. Breadsticks were pretty good, but that's literally it. How do you mess up a cheese pizza with extra cheese. Genuinely not that hard.

Guess I should know better than to order from here but we had a gift card. Well, not only did they not put the money on the gift card that was bought for us (we have a receipt of the purchase) they also took over an hour and still did not have our order ready. We just cut our losses and went elsewhere.

Delivery driver looked high, showed up 55 minutes after leaving restaurant, marked order complete 25 minutes before showing up, and sat in his car before getting out with the pizza for seven minutes. Restaurant said they would refund some and never did. I don't mind a long delivery time, but honesty should have been paramount.
