Spent this past weekend in Michigan City and stumbled upon the Ritz Klub by chance. We had a late lunch Thursday (burger of the month and the burger sliders) - excellent! We decided to go back for dinner Saturday and caught the tail end of the IU game and the start of the Notre Dame game, decent game atmosphere. This night we shared the fried fish and the chicken strips, both were as expected (we weren't ordering basic pub fare to be blown away, just looking for some familiar comfort food). As far as service goes, we had mediocre service on Thursday. While we were greeted and served somewhat promptly, we felt like we were a bother for being there. No welcoming charm. Saturday night was redeemed a bit with our server/bartender being Rob - cool vibes that made you feel welcome!

Great staff, great wings, great burgers, good place to watch sports.
This is a beautiful old building that has been around since 1890. The ceiling is gorgeous. The food is great. My favorite is the loaded fries and the adult grilled cheese. My son's favorites are the wings. Be sure to ask for Danielle and Grace. Great friendly welcoming servers and bartenders. I could just hug them both!!!!
