Scartozzi's Trattoria

We had take out tonight for Scartozzi’s for the first time and to say that we were satisfied is an understatement. I was very impressed with the quality, taste, and portions of our food. We tried the chicken alfredo, one with fetuccini and one with bowtie pasta and both were beyond delicious; the cripsy chicken cutlet on top was perfectly cooked and so crispy and juicy and the bread that comes with the pasta is a DREAM. The caesar salad was phenomenal- the dressing and croutons are to die for. Last, we got the cheese bread which as simple as it is, was very delicious. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy from the moment you pull into the parking lot; since it is December the decorations were so festive and beautiful, and everyone was so pleasant and nice. We have already discussed that this place will become a new weekly tradition—please keep being so amazing! Support local small businesses❤️

Hidden Gem of Michigan City!! Family owned place with extremely good food and service!

Today was my first time!

I ordered the cold cut sub and some garlic cheese bread!

While I was eating it, all I could think about is why in the world I had never been here before!

We ordered the half pan sausage and peppers and half pan of penne Al Formo to go. The great packaging made for easy hour drive transport. Both were delicious and enjoyed by many friends. We’ll be back!!

All the years my wife and I have visited this area, we've never tried this place...until today! I had to try their Italian beef sammich. It was absolutely amazing. Great ciabatta style roll to withstand the ton of juicy Italian beef they pack onto this sandwich. It's the real deal. It was served up fast and we got to chat with the owners. Super nice people! We'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Do not pass this spot by. We'll done!

We stopped here on a road trip to Michigan in need of some lunch. Wow! The kids gobbled their eggplant Parmesan sandwiches and my grilled chicken salad was marvelous. We had plenty of leftovers for later as well. My one complaint is that the garlic cheese bread was a little too salty. This is a family place and it shows. The people who work there are friendly and committed to excellent food. A true gem!
