Excellent friendly staff and great wine of course. Very family oriented and great outdoor atmosphere. Would like to give a special shout out to head Chef Brian.He spent several minutes talking with us about the menu and was extremely professional, friendly and courteous. I would encourage a stop at shady creek as a must during your Michiana wine tour.

We were looking for a winery that would meet all of the different pallets of our group, and this fit the bill nicely. My mom prefers what I refer to as sugar water, the super sweet wine, while the rest of us enjoy drier whites and reds. Shady Creek had a solid selection that made everyone happy, which I didn’t think was going to be possible.I’ll also add that the facility was great and I really love their outdoor space. Didn’t get the chance to go on their tour, but it was recommended to us, so next time we have family in town we plan on taking it.We did have some small bites, the assorted cheese and crackers and the baked Brie. Both were ok…. Nothing special, but it was really about the wine for us anyway.

The food is delicious, the wine menu is rich and diverse, the management and staff are hospitable and wonderful, the environment is aesthetically and in all other ways pleasing. I enjoyed every moment of my visit thoroughly.The ordering situation is a bit unique. You walk up, order your food/beverages, pay, and then take your seats and your order is delivered to your table.
