South Bend Chocolate Café

We stopped in for coffee. I had a delicious iced midnight mocha with almond milk. The hubby had an iced latte. Service was fantastic.

Great lunch, good atmosphere, definitely stopping in again. The Chai was great and I enjoyed my Ruben sandwich.

Great food and service

The place and food are pleasant. The only complaint that I have is its bar against outside food when you have no intention of eating that outside food inside the restaurant: You're just shopping in the mall and going from store to store, one of which happens to be the cafe, and making purchases!

Very good ice cream, the hot chocolate was amazing. Also staff was so nice! My new favorite spot!

Amazing have gone there twice now just for the fudge and would go back a third infact tried to over last weekend but sadly they were having furnace issues so they were closed that day

Best hot chocolate I've ever had. The selection of chocolate candies was impressive.

The service was HORRIBLE and over priced for some very mid drinks/food. First off I walked in and didn’t even get a hello. I said hi first to one of the guys working there and he didn’t even say hi back. RUDE. Second off we got cheesecakes (plain cheesecake and turtle cheesecake to be exact) and a white chocolate hot chocolate and this iced coffee drink and let’s just say I won’t be going back again. It was SO expensive when the hot chocolate tasted like hot water. The turtle cheesecake tasted off. But the plain cheesecake was good!

Absolutely love the customer service and the chocolate here! The hot chocolate and the cheesecake are both favorites of mine! I also really like the turkey wrap

Great half salad and lobster bisque.

Had the chairs up on the tables and hour before close. Couldn't tell if they were open or not. Got ice cream at least.

I don’t know what’s going on… I ordered a salad and a bagel to go.waited and waited…. There was no salad. 🥗 had to ask for it. Then it was made to eat there. I asked for “to go”. No crackers with salad. Asked how much root beer was, we don’t have root beer. I pointed directly at the soda case where there were plenty of bottles of root beer. Not a good experience. Makes me sad since the place looks like a nice place for lunch and chocolate.

Edit: Second time visiting. Sandwich and burger were good. Malt was good. Only complaint was i didn't get any chips with the food and didn't notice until I got home.

The boys working Friday night were fun and great customer service. Food was 3/5. Icecream was delicious and we got a pound of chocolate to go. Great place to get food or a snack when shopping.
