We stopped in after going to another local place where we sat for over 15 minutes with no service, so we left. Texas Corral was a breath of fresh air for the evening! Food was great and liked the fact they had peanuts AND rolls! Definitely a plus.

Excellent service and delicious food. We were in town visiting and wanted a steak dinner. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the loaded sweet potato lwas yummy too. Also, kids eat for $1.99 on Tuesdays.

Our waiter Rafael took 15 mins to bring plates for our rolls and get drink order told him I would give the whole order now and that seemed to make him perturbed also. Had an attitude the whole time like we were bothering him or wasting his time . Thank goodness for runners or would never have gotten our food. He asked if I wanted a refill but was not thrilled at all about. Asked for a to go box and he wasn't happy about that. Brought our bill finally about 20 mins later asked us what we ordered ( he lost the ticket) then took forever for that too. Just the whole experience was bad. We go here a lot for family dinners , special occasions and date nights. Probably won't again for a very long time if ever. Takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch. He either needs better training and customer service or a job he's actually happy with.

$30 boneless porterhouse was poor at best. More than 60% was inedible fat/gristle. Green beans were overlooked. Mushrooms or dry and overcooked.
Service was decent. Atmosphere was well lit, but a bit bland.

Love the food here. I travel several hours a few times a year to treat myself to their fantastic cactus blossom onions and Filet mignon. Prices are reasonable and service is always great.
The waitress handled ten tables by herself, did an amazing job. Also, the food was great!

It was very clean, the waitress was very professional and couldn't ask for a better waitress. The wait time was minimal from hostess, seating, order time, and wait time until the meal was served. We ordered the 8oz. Pork Chops meal, which included a soup, french fries, dinner rolls, and mango tea. The price was reasonable and fair for what we received and it was very good. My waitress was very friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we requested.
Parking: Handicap close to the door.
Kid-friendliness: There were children there and they were enjoying themselves.

It was similar to Texas Roadhouse. Variety of food options including some vegetarian or meals you could easily make vegetarian. Fun atmosphere too!
