Three Sheets is an authentic townie, dive-bar in Michigan City, an authentic All-American city. I embrace the patrons who support this local business; down-to-earth, honest, hard working, folks. The type of clientele that build our houses, make steel, construct roads and bridges, fight our fires, farm crops and repairs our cars. The food is always delicious, hot, and very reasonably priced. The beer is cold and the drinks are strong. The Wednesday Meat Loaf Special is one of my favorites along with The Working Person's Special (burger, fries, soft drink) A little smoky? At times, yes, but so was my grandma's house. However, that didn't stop me from visiting her, devouring her wonderful food and enjoying time spent there.
Predictable Foodz
My mother and grandpa called asking for a great burger referral in the city. I gladly recommended Three Sheets burgers because they have ALWAYS been top-tier over the past decade. They are old-fashioned burgers that give me such nostalgia from my childhood. They are reasonably priced at 7 bucks or $8.50 if you get them with all the condiments. Their burgers put Schoops and Redamacks to shame! The only reason I didn't rate them a 5 is because the burgers don't come with chips or a small fry. Their fries are a $3 upcharge with the burger. That is the only downside, I've made my mother and grandfather true believers in their huge burgers.
