We were passing thru and stayed in Michigan City for the night a week ago. We were looking for a place to have dinner and found Zorn online…:looked like the perfect place. Neat place with great food but the service was one of the worst we have ever experienced. We walked in and sat down..::multiple workers kept walking by and after 10min a server stopped and asked if we were helped yet. I told her no and she said she would get our server. Great drinks and atmosphere. Hit or miss on the service. I’ve never had a bad experience here other than trying to get my server’s attention for more drinks but they are super friendly. Food is good for the price point.
Garden salads are large and very good.
Block pizza is good, but some of the photos make it look Detroit style with thick, fluffy, crispy crust. It’s closer to grandma style pie with a thin-ish crust that’s crispy, but with the pizza sauce drizzled over the cheese like a Detroit style. Lots of cheese and toppings. Overall super good, just not what I was expecting...
