Per usual, this was a fantastic meal! This is the second time we have come this month actually in the last two weeks because I wanted to get something on the November special that my husband had gotten the last time. The short ribs were no disappointment for sure! The gravy is exceptional!

It was on a Saturday night and the Angry Donkey was full. The wait staff had our table ready and made room for me to roll my wife right up the table in her wheelchair. I had an Old Fashioned for an aperitif, then the House Salad - always delicious - and the beef medallions with mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the house salad and the shrimp and grits. We both enjoyed our meal immensely! Dessert was the Apple Brown Betty with ice cream. We ordered one, and two spoons. As we were finishing our dessert, the owner/head chef came by to welcome us. It was a lovely evening! We have been coming to Angry Donkey for the past five years and have never been disappointed! We will be back.

We were a party of 6 and Alma G was the waitress that took very good care of us ! She had wonderful suggestions and made great conversation. Alma provided some insight into several of the dishes and we ended up have appetizers and the s’mores dessert cake. We had a great evening !

This place is a hidden gem. Not what one would expect to find in a small town. Awesome food, cozy ambiance. I had a pork ragu with black pepper fettuccine. Rich, delicious fall dish. Smores cake for dessert. Super amazing. A must visit.
