The staff was very nice and prompt. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes were on the cold side but it didn't take long to get our meal. The tap sangria was delicious, pictured here.

We visited on 4/27/2024, and had to share our thoughts on State & Main. The food and drinks were soooo very good, but the service from Maria (our server) and bartender Zayne by far, exceeded our expectations. Thx for such a lovely evening.

Consistantly great food and service. I have eaten here at least 10 times and I always leave satisfied. Atmosphere is fun, and the wall mural is worth the trip on it's own! Parking is easy on local streets, and the place is kid friendly. Check out the wall of phones mounted on the back hallway while you are there.Parking: Side street parking is plentiful.Kid-friendliness: Good clean place, uplifting atmosphere.

First time here--Took forever to get our drinks. Then the pop was flat. Water tasted like it came out of a sewer. Ordered the shrimp appetizer for $13 IT CAME WITH 6 CHEWY SHRIMPS. Burgers came with Fries BUT THEY CHARGED and Xtra $2 for sweet Potato fries that were burnt. This place is a no go for me.

Stopped in for a quick meal while traveling for work. Tried the smash burger and sweet potato fries and it was great. Bartender made a great old fashioned. 10/10 would stop again.
There was 8 of us, including 2 children. They stuffed is in a table that's for maybe 6. Service was very slow, food took forever. Server took way to long to come back to check on us and refill drinks ( all pop ). Food was ok, steaks were good but do not recommend baked macaroni, dry and flavorless. Very small so more of a couples dinner/bar atmosphere, definitely not for large families or party's.

It took way too long after I sat at the bar to even get a drink. I should have left at that point because it just got worse. I ordered a bowl of soup. I got a tiny cup. It was good. The best part of the meal.They really need to learn to cook a steak. Potatoes under cooked and carrots were cold. My medium rare steak was raw. Just no....no, no, no!

Great service , good selection on the menu. Had the potato skins ( were delicious and came quickly), wife had the breaded chicken sandwich and fries( she said it was the best chicken sandwich she had ever had), I ordered the new York strip with potatoes an carrots( steak was over but the sides were delicious), good drinks ( wife didn't like the orange pieces in the orange boozy shake)
