They don't take reservations, but I called ahead and told them I had 9 guests and would be there at 5:00. We arrived at 5 and they already had a table waiting for us. Service was great, food was great. Have eaten here before and will eat there again!!
If you’re looking for a quaint little restaurant in a small town, this is it. We had the haystack and biscuits and gravy. Food was outstanding and the service was friendly. The restaurant is clean and on the smaller side.
A bit of history, the popular restaurant used to be on the top of a hill on the other side of Middlebury. Sadly, it burned down some years back. So it has been reestablished at the bottom of the hill downtown Middlebury.

Their food is amazing! The service is great! They are usually pretty busy so be patient if you don’t get your food right away. It can get pretty noisy when the tables are mostly full, but that’s part of it!
