My husband and I go there frequently, the food is great, large portions and not real expensive. The staff is prompt and very friendly. It's one of the best mom and pop places around ...will definitely keep going there as we have never been disappointed.....( My name is Kirtley now)

I’m extremely grateful to have Modoc Diner as an option to eat at! We are new seasonal campers at Adventure Bound Kamp Modoc and our camping neighbors told us about this “local diner with some of the best food” so, of course we had to see what the fuss was all about! The four of us came in for lunch and the service and food what exactly what I was hoping to find…a great home cooked meal being served by someone who treated you like you were their neighbor in a cozy environment! What more could you ask for?? We’ve been back several times since for breakfast, lunch and dinner lol The boasted chicken is very yummy!😋 Hopefully my next visit, I’ll be able to have the tenderloin…it was sold out on my last carry out order and I had to “settle” for the chicken….oh darn 😂Thank you for making it your life’s work to serve hungry people like me. You are appreciated…all of you🥰 Edited it to add that Rebecca Thomas and Beth Pittenger Larsen are our camping neighbors that introduced us to this hidden gem💎
I'm from Muncie, and I can't help but gush about this dinner 😋! Every time I visit, the food is consistently prepared exactly how I like it, which is a win in my book. Their menu has a variety of tasty options that always leave me satisfied. From the friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere, it's a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend it if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed! 🍽️ . P.S The macaroni salad is great!

We frequent the Modoc Diner whenever we’re able. Our whole family enjoys it. The atmosphere is refreshing as it’s not cookie cutter. We love the small town feel. The staff have always been so sweet! Not to mention, the food is spot on. Their tenderloins are my favorite, right next to the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had! I highly recommend anyone that has an opportunity, check them out!

The Modoc Diner is a staple in our community. Friendly staff & even some of their kiddos that grew up in the Diner greet you with a smile and that friendly welcome. I’m a HUGE fan of the breakfast platters and dinner specials. My husband loves their BLT’s and lunch time sandwiches. Overall great establishment and even better people.
