I've haven't been to Monroeville in a long time. I used to live out there a LONG time ago. I only go out to visit my Grandparents, grave. I decided to check out the Blueberry Pancake House since I remember what it used to be. I had the Jalapeño Burger and a cup of chili, and it was DELICIOUS!!! They put the Jalapeño on the burger, then the cheese so the Jalapeños don't fall (smart). The hostess was very helpful, and his service was GREAT.... I'll be coming...
We were in Monroeville, Indiana picking up auction items right around lunch time and spotted this little restaurant, The Blueberry Pancake House. We decided to walk in and get a bite to eat. It's an old building with old tables and booths, but sometimes places like this have the best food. My hubby ordered the sausage gravy with biscuits that came with eggs and hash brown potatoes. This place rocks! Service is under 10 minutes from when you place your order. You are seated very quickly. Staff is so friendly. Coffee is good. The ice tea is real good. Omelets are huge and your meal will be filling. My wife and I split our meal every time and still have some leftover. I recommend the "Popeye" omelet. Specials are on the board as soon as you walk in. Prices are great!
