I had French toast, sausage and 2 eggs over medium.The French toast seemed like some you'd get in the frozen food section. The sausage was of a low grade, no taste, and my eggs were barely over easy.I swear to you I brought the sausage home and gave it to my beagles.

I love this place, the food is excellent and the staff is super friendly. They stayed open during all of the virus mess and had wonderful carry out specials. They have remodeled inside and it looks really nice.

Traveling west on I-70 we were hungry all the way through Indianapolis but deferred stopping there to eat. A few miles down the road we took a chance and got off at the Monrovia exit and drove to this little town, just 3 miles down the road to the south. We saw several small eateries but picked this one just on a hunch, and boy did we make the right choice! It's a spartan-plain spot, so we were surprised by the complete menu of many solid American dishes and found exactly what we wanted. I ordered the Grilled Reuben Sandwich on Rye, which came with excellent fries, and my daughter ordered soup and salad. Everything was superb. The Reuben especially surprised me as a totally stellar sandwich. We got a kick out of the simple charm of the place, and the friendly staff. A group of 6 construction workers came in and sat at a nearby table and all 6 ordered full meals which appeared to us to be perfectly done comfort meals and the men raved about their dishes when I remarked that their food looked really good-- steak and mashed potatoes and vegetables. You can't go wrong here! Parking right out front.
