Big portions, great staff. I got the catfish I perfer a light cornmeal breading, this was a crunchy chicken style. Just personal preference? Wife got the tenderloin, same crunchy breading. You will get plenty of whatever you order.

The rule is to not eat at chain restaurants while on vacation! Monrovia Family Restaurant a GREAT place to eat! My sister and I stopped in for breakfast on our sister trip from Texas! Great food that was reasonably priced, friendly staff, and loved the welcoming atmosphere!

I recently stopped by Monrovia Family Restaurant for lunch with a friend, and it was a great experience! I went with the Turkey Club, which came perfectly stacked and speared into two long kabobs. The multiple layers of fresh toppings and generous slices of turkey made it incredibly satisfying. I also got a side of fries, which were crisp and thin, just the way I like them. My friend tried the Giant Breaded Tenderloin and absolutely loved it. While there might be larger tenderloins out there, these are hand-cut by the chef and definitely fill you up.
The service was prompt and friendly, just like you'd expect from a small-town diner. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were spot-on. Monrovia Family Restaurant is definitely a great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and I'll be coming back for sure!

We have been here many times for breakfast, which is always great. Our family has recently been ordering for lunch and dinner and everything is amazing. The tenderloin (grilled and breaded), the frisco melt, the buffalo chicken wrap, the chimichanga with all of the sides, the French fries…all delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We enjoy going to MFR. Pretty much all the food we've tried has been good. There omelets and tenderloins are really good. We really like their appetizer sampler too. There chicken salad is really good. There broccoli soup is good. See, I told you it's all good lol. Desserts are really good. GOOD BYE A+
