This place earns a solid 5-star review! From the delicious breakfast—featuring what might be the best corned beef hash I've ever had—to the wonderful service and welcoming atmosphere, it's a truly great place. If you're just passing through, it's a can't-miss spot, and if you live nearby, consider yourself lucky to have such a great restaurant so close.
Big portions, great staff. I got the catfish I perfer a light cornmeal breading, this was a crunchy chicken style. Just personal preference? Wife got the tenderloin, same crunchy breading. You will get plenty of whatever you order.
The rule is to not eat at chain restaurants while on vacation! Monrovia Family Restaurant a GREAT place to eat! My sister and I stopped in for breakfast on our sister trip from Texas! Great food that was reasonably priced, friendly staff, and loved the welcoming atmosphere!
