A1 Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

This place used to be really good. It has since went down hill. If you have an issue don’t plan on it getting corrected the manager “Chang” is rude and will not do anything to make it right. Definitely will not waste my money there again.

The food there is amazing. My family is from Southern Indiana and Goshen area. Also, I always bring them in for a nice dinner or lunch.

They have a hibachi grill in the middle and do all the standard fare as well as sushi.

Customer service was great… food was ehhh.
Me and my wife had steak and shrimp/ steak and chicken, when food arrived it looked small portion compared to other hibachi places we’ve been. Steak, shrimp and the chicken were good. Fried rice was really blend (lacked flavor) but what really made me give it a 3 star was our veggies.. they were just salty really salty. Idk if it was just the cook tonight or is just salty in general. Wanted to give it a shot since it showed really good ratings ( 4.5 stars ) but maybe it just wasn’t out night.

My family and I have eaten here for the past eight years. We probably average at least one monthly visit. Our food and service have always been wonderful.

Definitely going back soon. Good selection and well priced. soup, salad, and hibachi range from 12-25$ per person.

Wonderful restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. We will definitely be eating here again. Restaurant is clean, wait staff professional and very pleasant. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The food and service are always phenomenal. I've been eating here since 2012. At first I only got chicken teriyaki but over the years I have broadened my horizons and often order a couple of sushi rolls. The maki lunch is one of my favorites although sometimes I do go for the yakiniku. The chicken teriyaki is good - I just have developed favorites over the years.

Worst place I've been to in years. The food was the saltiest food I believe I have EVER had. Their rice had lots of black pepper in it. It tasted horrible. Their chicken was odd tasting. It was crispy but not deep fried. My wife's vegetables had an odd flavor. Neither of us ate much of our food. It was inedible. Worst food in years. I told the manager that our food was more salty than any other restaurant I've ever been to. He said that's how they make it. Fine... You have the worst food I've had in years. The portions were very small as well. If you run a restaurant and your customers dislike the food and you don't remake their food or give them their money back, you're going to lose money. Not only will I never go here, hopefully everyone that reads my review will not go here and choose a different restaurant. Not only have you lost my business, how many other people will go elsewhere after reading my review. If 10 people go elsewhere, you've lost their business too. The $15 you could have refunded to me, may cost you hundreds or a thousand down the line. Think about future losses instead of the $15 you could have lost today. Bad way to run a business. I left the same review on Google, Trip Advisor and Yelp... Reviews matter.
