Food was delicious as always. When we questioned the service fee on the bill when we paid cash we were informed it was for card use.
Once the cash was in her hand she quickly inquired how much change we would like back which to me as a former server is an immediate negative vibe. The change was over 30% and quite honestly the bare minimum service we got today would’ve been reaching to have provided 20% tip.
Lastly, the change we received still reflected the service charge for credit card/debit card use ??♀️
& we never got a copy of the itemized bill back either.

Easily one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. Got their special for the month, the stuffed shroom burger. Have been craving another one since.

We Have eaten at Ralph and Ava’s a couple times, but this time we just had it will be our last. The most disgusting $24 sirloin I’ve ever gotten. They should be ashamed of themselves. There was so much seasoning on top of my steak to even eat half of it I had to drown it in A1 sauce; it was the nastiest steak I’ve ever had & steak is my favorite food. Let alone, I ordered a sirloin and I’ve never in my life gotten a sirloin that looks like this. My gf got the Buffalo chicken wrap and is a big fan of it usually, but this time the chicken was hard as hell and this place clearly doesn’t give a damn about its customers or anything. Charging this much money for what they gave us tonight is absolutely ridiculous. I will never be back & if anyone is wondering if they should eat here, NO YOU SHOULD NOT. Absurdly overpriced & you get terrible meat.

We came for the Doctor Who store but as is our habit looked for highly rated local fare, something we cannot get at home. We found this little gem via good ole Google.
First Atmosphere: Lovely and quaint with a touch of class and a true down town vibe. Very appropriate for the area. We were seated immediately. Seating is sparse without an outdoor option so if you are going during prime time you may want to call ahead.
Service: Not terrible but nothing to write home about. The choice in midriff top when you're asking your guests to pay that kind of bill doesn't seem like an ambient choice to me. The others working seemed more interested in visiting behind the bar than assisting in clearing and supporting one another. We ordered a lot of different foods because we were so intrigued by the menu and were continuously disappointed when the drink glasses and plates continued to stack up rather than be cleared to make room for additional food.
Cocktails: Again, nothing to write home about but I'm also an old school bartender and hard to impress. I was told it was made from scratch but it did not come close to tasting that way to me.
Food: Here's the reason to go! Every. Single. Item was fantastic and impressive. We tried the Fried Shrooms, lovely portabella mushrooms tempura style with house ranch and garlic aioli. Unbelievable! Smash burger was on point! Fries were perfectly executed, crunchy and fresh. Crab Rangoon quesadilla, big pieces of crab in a perfect quesadilla shell, cooked to perfection with the sweet Thai sauce. Steak, medium, well seasoned and executed well. French onion soup tasted fresh and as though it was done with a true consumme instead of stock.
All in all we would return in hopes the wait staff seemed a bit more into their jobs but we could probably deal with that for the food!
