I live in Bloomington and I drive to Mooresville for what I think is some outstanding Barbeque. I've been 3 times in the last 6 weeks. Squealers keep up the great work.

All fried stuff tasted like onion rings bbq was over cooked all breading came off chicken sandwich fell off after 1st bite not a good

I ordered the tip dinner with Mac and collards over the phone. I walked in to pick it up myself. Wasn't quite ready so I waited about 5 minutes and it was ready. No problem. I got home ready to chow and was very much disappointed.Appearance/temperature: My ribs were cold, not Luke warm, not room temp, cold! So cold that the oils were solidifying. (I live 0.5mi from the location). The sides consisted of about 2 tbsp of collards and maybe 3 tbsps of mac. The bread was room temp.Taste: it all tasted good after being warmed up in the microwave. Collards smelled of vinegar but the taste wasn't too strong. Lightly seasoned which is good in my opinion. Apple butter was really good but nothing spectacular.Texture: ribs were fatty but tender, really pink (praying for no food poisoning) Mac was over cooked so a bit mushy. The bread still had a good crunch to it, although it was room temp.Overall: for the amount I paid, I will not be visiting again. This is my first time going after a few years. They have potential though.I came out of ketosis for this?

The meat was very dry and definitely overcooked. Got some Brunswick stew and it tasted a lot like chili with dry brisket in it. The flavor of the stew itself was good though, just tastes like chili. The pulled pork was super dry on the sandwich. We got a dirty spoon with our meal, like I'm talking this thing was covered in jam and we didn't order anything that had purple jam. Our waitress was taking a decade to get anything to us. We sat for about 20 minutes before she ever came to ask us what we wanted to drink. The restaurant was not busy at all. Only about 5 tables had people at them. We ordered our food at the same time we ordered our drinks just in case she decided not to come back. Took another 20 minutes for our food. Then we waited a while for the check. Overall we were in here for a solid hour and 15 minutes during a relatively slow hour of the day. I don't know if she was having extended conversations in the back or why she was being so slow but someone needs to work on that. Everytime she came out of the back there was nothing in her hands so I'm not sure why she was back there so long anyways.
Special thank you to Jeff and his staff for their wonderful job setting up their banquet room for a memorial service. The decor was perfect for the large turn out. The set up was beautiful and the banquet food and drink services were perfect. The food was well laid out in warming trays of pulled pork sandwiches, fired ribs and the sauces were excellent. Chips, bread, and plenty of pitchers of soda, water, & ice tea While this was a sad occasion, we very much appreciated the ease for so many to come in to eat, drink, and just sit around tables to visit at this celebration of life. A service very much appreciated by the entire family. Thank you.ps. We will return for a BBQ dinner in the main restaurant in the future.

I had to pick up something for my daughter in Mooresville and my wife and I passed Squealers and decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint! Really loved the food (brisket for me and my wife had the chicken) and atmosphere is great for a BBQ joint. Our waitress did a great job as well. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.
Waited over an hour to get seated and then food took over an hour. Waitress barely even came to check on us when we were having a dinner with a co worker that was leaving us. Drinks barely got refilled. Waitress seemed like she didn’t know the menu. Very disappointed in our service , especially when we called way ahead for a 16 top table.

Squealers is very good! We've been twice and the BBQ is very good! Their sides are very tasty too! The staff very friendly and the best part... I did not have any problems with my celiac disease!

We was driving through and decided to give this place a try since we love eating bbq. We got our food and the first thing we tried was the baked beans and green beans which both tasted real good. I got a half slab of baby backs and they were some of the best ribs I’ve had in awhile. They were tender, had a nice taste and the sauce was the icing on the cake. My girl got the chicken tenders and they were also good. The deep fried biscuit(I think its called that) was a nice change of pace from other bbq joints. Melissa our server was awesome. She was busy the whole time and kept checking in on us. I also noticed the other employees hustling hard with their customers. The prices and portions are also on par with other bbq places that I have eaten at. On a side note, I have eaten bbq at a lot of places when I travel because I love ribs and I was really impressed with this place. Also don’t forget to grab a bottle of sauce to go!
